On Friday 14.march.2025, my turn to select places to eat so I chose kokan as he wanted to eat at kokan a few times but it just didn't happen.
*** Beef Wat Tan Hor ***
10.22 am - I find this Laow Di Fang beef wat tan Hor MYR 22.90 nett to be the best currently. The beef slices are tender and quite thick. The egg gravy is flavourful with prawns taste and the portion is huge.
*** Kokan jalan perisa 1 ***
9.57 am - 2 soft boiled eggs and hot cham drink for him. Total MYR 6.20 nett.
10.00 am - he ordered ccf ytf curry mix brown sauce total MYR 15.50 nett for 2 Brinjal ytf, 2 bitter gourd ytf, 1 red chilli ytf, 1 bean curd sheet and 1 piece of ccf which he shared with me.
10.04 am - my portion of the ccf ytf
2.22 pm - he bought roast duck and siew yuk total MYR 14 nett for his early dinner eaten at about 2.30 pm from kokan roast stall.
*** Laow Di Fang jalan perisa 1 ***
I ordered all 3 items total MYR 38.90 nett at Laow Di Fang and he just ate a bit of two items and he didn't drink the iced coffee.
10.19 am - iced 3 layer coffee MYR 8.50 nett. They use gula melaka as the sugar.
10.19 am - hot snow fungus peach gum tong sui
10.22 am - beef wat tan Hor MYR 22.90 nett
Huge portion, flavourful egg gravy and tender thick beef slices.
10.27 am - he said he had eaten enough and all these 3 items are for me so I was way too full when I cleaned up everything. Total MYR 38.90 nett.
