BR Mini Ice Cream Pancake

On Friday 20.jun.2025, it was raining in the morning. Just as well because yesterday night he mentioned having lunch at C plus cafe pinnacle condo Sri Petaling.

9.34 am - milk egg toasts with hot white coffee 20% sugar soft boiled eggs set MYR 15.90

9.39 am - the two drinks with my order of ala carte fried egg x 2 x MYR 1.50

PH's Friday 13jun2025 article mentioned Baskin Robbins mini ice cream pancakes so I made a note to try it if I happened to be at a Baskin Robbins store.

10.58 am - this branch has the mini ice cream pancakes 

Looks good

10.47 am - they allow two flavours of ice cream so I select very berry strawberry and chocolate trilogy. Very small scoop each. MYR 9.90 nett.

10.48 am - top view. They put lots of strawberries jam with real strawberries as toppings before drizzling lots of chocolate sauce on top of the strawberry jam.

10.49 am - real strawberries in the sauce and ice cream 😋 there are two round pancakes on each side.

With this ice cream pancakes I completed my meal for this day.

Colourful chapfan no rice

On Thursday 19.jun.2025, went to eat chapfan no rice for brunch.

10.34 am - left: omelette and stir fry petola capsicum onions.

Right: pumpkins, taros, broccoli 🥦, tofu and yin choy green amaranth 

A glass of cold Cham drink.

Total price for 3 items: MYR 21 nett.

From the fruits stall:

1. A slice of pineapple 🍍 MYR 3 nett

2. A slice of papaya MYR 2.50 nett

We ate 3:2 lychees and 1:2 cherries, bread and butter. He boiled Sam soh herbal water and I ate some of the herbs remnants.

Ramen Yi Hao Cha Shi

On Wednesday 18.jun.2025, went to pass the clothes to my friend and then went to Yi Hao Cha Shi eatery which is in the same building as Giant supermarket in Desa Petaling.

11.16 am - we waited from 10.23 am till 11.05 am for this ramen stall to open, just for this bowl of garlic oil ramen noodles MYR 14 nett which he read online is very tasty which it is for this price. Instead of pork, they use chicken instead.

11.24 am - my portion.

10.36 am - toasts, eggs, coffee set MYR 7.90 nett. He also ordered pepper stomach misua soup with very peppery soup.

10.52 am - my portion 

11.34 am - I drank all of both types of soup without feeling thirsty.

10.23 am - Yi hao Cha shi eatery located on the top floor aka 4th floor aka 3A floor of plaza Salak park, desa petaling.

After our brunch, we went downstairs to Giant supermarket to buy some groceries. In front of Giant is subway eatery so I bought a beef cheese wrap.

2.42 pm - beef cheese all vege no sauce wrap MYR 16.95 nett. I requested for no sauce at all.

2.33 pm - the wrap skin dough is a bit salty, I would prefer it to be less salty.

1.04 pm - I ate 12 lychees. There are 20 lychees remaining. There are 41 lychees in total for 1 kg.

On Tuesday 17.jun.2025, went to Pavilion Bukit Jalil to collect reports and bought clothes for my friend so we were there from about 10.30 am to 3.30 pm so parking fees is MYR 7 nett.

2.16 pm - the previous night, I suddenly wanted to eat this dish pork chop prawns fried egg rice MYR 41.98+ 6% service tax so is MYR 44.50 nett. There are 9 prawns, he ate 3 and gave me 6 because he knows I like to eat prawns.

Ala carte pork chop is MYR 18.xx and prawns fried egg rice is MYR 27.xx

2.41 pm - my portion. I like the pork chop because it is lean meat but tender enough for my weak teeth. Very flavourful too.

He ordered Ginseng chicken soup MYR 27.83+ 6% service tax so the price is MYR 29.50 nett.

2.51 pm - when paying the bill at the cashier counter I saw these pineapple tart at MYR 8.50 nett each so I bought one to try.

2.56 pm - very buttery and tasty 😋 just too little for MYR 8.50 nett.

On Monday 16.jun.2025, went to yitcha Kaw Kaw for brunch because they have this new steamed village chicken rice that he wanted to try but once there, we were told the chicken rice is only available from 5 pm onwards so we ate some other dishes.

9.12 am - smooth silky runny eggs

I like to eat this Kaya butter thin toasts. I completed my Omad after this brunch at 10 am.

Total MYR 39.10 nett and received a coupon for a discount on our next visit.

Prawn Paste Fried Chicken Leg

On Sunday 15.jun.2025, went out twice for food so I didn't practise omad:

Cawan kopitiam kuchai lama, Lai Lai desserts, BiaoDi Kopitiam and kwong woh tong pearl point.

4.14 pm - we shared a plate of their signature prawn paste fried chicken leg nasi lemak MYR 28.90++ with a huge chicken leg and we requested for less rice. Can taste prawn paste in the deep fried chicken skin. The chicken leg is very big so eating it needs more effort because need to cut off the meat with a knife. The rice I didn't detect any special taste, maybe I wasn't paying enough attention to the rice.

We also shared a glass of iced coffee O kosong MYR 6.90++ so total price is MYR 41.55 nett.

Only retained 50g water which is very good because I ate 3 meals and completed my meals later at 6 pm.

9.26 am - he ordered tri Kaya butter toasts MYR 5.90+ The toasts on the plate are plain toasts, no butter. The Tri Kaya is Kaya, pumpkin jam, yam jam. I didn't like the pumpkin jam and yam jam because they are too sweet so I ate just one piece of toast with Kaya while he ate 3 pieces of toasts with nearly all the Kaya with more pumpkin jam remaining, not finished. Don't know why there is no butter when the name has butter in it but we didn't ask.

10.16 am - total price MYR 43.65 nett.
