Clean eating?

Sometimes when I am lazy to prepare other type of food or to eat out, the above will be my breakfast, lunch or dinner: rolled oats soaked in water with dried cranberries, pecans, almonds and walnuts.

  1. Clean eating? Old folks used to say, la sap ciak, la sap pui (dirty eat, dirty fat in Hokkien). My guess is they meant you will get stronger, probably will build up all the immunities. Those neglected kids, so dirty, eating anything they find on the floor/ground - everything goes into the mouth, they never fall sick. LOL!

No, I'm not into these things - my girl would love it!

    1. Yes, I have heard that one before. Big germs eat small germs. LOL!

  2. Water? Why not milk? This won't be enough to fill my tummy for lunch and dinner but it will be good for breakfast.

    1. You work fulltime so if you cook during dinner time, cannot be considered as lazy.

  6. Your oats soaked with water and raw nuts would be considered clean eating - no sugar, all natural. I can't eat it like that. I prefer to soak the oats on soya bean milk and top with raisins/roasted nuts/bananas.

    1. I think the dried cranberries have additional sugar on them to make them not sour.

  8. My eyes went big and wide looking at your photo! LOL
I eat oats almost everyday but never tried this combo like yours. Looks easy and healthy to try as I do eat all the ingredients except not in the same bowl.

    1. Does not need to be in the same bowl as long as you eat them. :)

    1. I eat these because I am lazy. Not because I want to clean anything. :)

  10. I cannot eat it like that too, I am someone who likes heavy flavour like curry and something as plain as these cannot appeal to me

  12. I eat that for fun!

My better half got me a huge 1 kg bag of oats and muesli and I'll just eat them with milk. I actually enjoy eating granola, muesli (healthy cereals) as well as the unhealthier cereals like Fruit Loops etc. They're both good to me and I'll eat a bowl for supper or breakfast.
