I eat for you

For lunch, my co workers and I will go around the area to seek out value lunch meals. I saw the above and decided to try it out for my spouse since he likes to eat roast pork. After 6% GST and 4% service charge, the meal came up to MYR15.35 which is still good value since the meal includes soup of the day and a drink.

Mushroom soup and ice lemon tea without syrup/sugar - part of the value lunch. Taste is acceptable.

The roast pork portion seems small from this angle.

It looks better from this angle. Roast pork lovers can try this due to the price. Taste ok.

I had to remove all the fatty parts as I don't eat them.

  1. not too bad with that price considering its location and target customers.. but i would think the portion is a little small for me, further considering that i would also scrap off all the fats from the roast pork.. so actually how much left for us to eat?? hahaha.. BTW, where are the sauerkraut and gherkin as mentioned in the menu??

  3. Mun, looks like there is a lot of fat. After removing the layer of fat only leaves about half to eat. I too only eat the meaty part.

  8. RM15 for a main course, soup and drink sounds good.. Food looks ok, but the roast pork portion too little for me, and I see more fats than meat, but I'm not complaining, I like fats, haha..

  9. Not tally with the menu description one. Where's the sauerkraut and gherkin? No matter how I see it, two cherry tomatoes and 1/8 wedge of a lemon is very different from sauerkraut and gherkin :/

  10. At RM15, that's a decent sized slab of roast pork. I'm assuming this is probably available on weekdays only.

  12. This is quite reasonably priced. I love pork belly and a bit of fats. Good for my knees and joints as per TCM's advice.
