On Thursday 4.june.2026, went out early for brunch and then went out again for foc nasi lemak burung hantu that opens at 3 pm today.

Too many people queuing for the foc nasi lemak chicken at nasi lemak burung hantu so we went to wah Yuen for early dinner.

He ordered hot red bean tong sui and pork chop egg instant noodles in soup.

I ordered cold red bean milk drink and he ordered warm papaya white fungus tong sui.

Total price around MYR 49 ish.

On Thursday 13.nov.2025, went to the new eatery for food.

It opens at 6.30 am but we went there at 9.30 am because he wants to complete his 24 hours water fasting 👏 👏 👏 

9.34 am - loyalty card for ordering the MYR 10 nett breakfast set of kaya butter toasts, hot drink and eggs. I ordered cold coffee MYR 4.80 nett. 

The iced coffee is strong, concentrated and sweet, exactly the taste of the cold coffee which my sister and I bought from the wet market when I was 5 years old. Very nice 😋 

9.35 am - he ordered prawns noodles soup MYR 10 and add pork ribs MYR 4.

9.36 am - the MYR 10 nett breakfast set: kaya butter toasts, eggs and hot cham.

9.44 am - I ordered pork noodles MYR 10 nett but they forgot to include the livers because we didn't want the kidneys. The soup is basic clear soup which I like. I chose mee sua which is not the salty type of mee sua so is very suitable for me. The pork meatballs have minced dry cuttlefish fragrance so are tasty 😋 

10.13 am - upstairs: customers can sit under the sun to sun bathe if they wish. 🌞

10.14 am - Chun Yang Kopitiam: the food stalls are downstairs with a limited dining area. The dining area upstairs is larger.

3.24 pm - drank some of the smoothie he made with banana 🍌, blueberry 🫐, oats, cashew nuts, soy drink.

10.08 am - this four fruits 4 Guo dessert tong Sui MYR 8.9+ is an new item on the menu so I ordered it to try. It is cold and refreshing with lots of ingredients so I will order it again.

10.07 am - we shared a nasi lemak curry chicken MYR 10.90+ and a cup of hot Kopitiam coffee MYR 3.20+

10.06 am - 2 half boiled eggs MYR 3.20+ for him.

Total price for 4 items: MYR 27.80 nett.

He then walked to the dim sum eatery and bought 1 char siew bao, congee and dim sum pork ribs for the elderly.

12.02 noon - found a parking spot near this eatery. We shared one bowl of Prawn mee with steamed chicken MYR 16.90 nett. Passable.

12.10 noon - I ordered this iced coffee o kosong MYR 3.90 nett and one piece of fried chicken ala carte MYR 9.90 nett which turned out to be a tender juicy tumeric chicken drumstick.

12.41 noon - total price MYR 30.70 nett.

4.12 pm - I ate half an avocado with rainbow bread. He ate half 🥑 early in the morning and kept the remaining half for me in the fridge.

10.53 am - The road in front of Fah Lian Herbs shop is closed to cars traffic. We didn't eat at Yang Kee as planned because of this road.

Big Prawn Noodle Pudu ICC

On Saturday 6.jul.2024, went early to ICC at 7 am because I slept on Friday from 4 pm until 9 pm and didn't sleep after that so directly go ICC Pudu for food.

7.40 am - his big prawn Noodle MYR 18 nett. He says he detected a bit of milk in the broth which I couldn't detect. We ordered iced coffee MYR 4 from one nearby coffee stall. There are many stalls selling coffee in Pudu Icc food court.

7.43 am - this signboard with the big prawn is the big prawn Noodle stall.

7.43 am - he also ordered char kway teow MYR 9 nett.

7.36 am - the whole Pudu ICC is full of people. Everyone wakes up early?

9 am - he bought 4 items from bunn Choon and ate one charcoal egg tart when this photo was snapped.

9.05 am - I ate half the the kaya puff and pineapple tart. No butter but the pastry crust is crispy.

He also bought iced Hainan drink, stomach pepper soup and duck leg MYR 16 nett for his early dinner. I didn't eat dinner so my omad was completed after the pastry.

Stir fried prawn mee

On Thursday 18.apr.2024, just went to Thong Kee Sri Petaling for brunch. Car parked at pinnacle car park. Bought bread and banana from pinnacle supermarket.

10.45 am - he selected all the items. Stir fried dry prawn mee MYR 8.50 nett, appetising because he squeezed two small limes juice onto the noodles. A bit sweet and a little spicy since we ate only a bit of the sambal.

Iced cham drink MYR 4.90 nett to share for the two of us. Acceptable as it is cold enough for me.

10.46 am - the pork noodles soup stall is having a rest day so he ordered the good quality Kai see hor fun with prawns and pieces of chicken instead of Kai see for about MYR 13 for both of us to share. The soup really taste good 💯 👍 😋 

After that bought banana and bread from pinnacle supermarket. When back home, I ate 4 pieces of Kaya roll from the previous day and ate all the remaining wife biscuit with mochi-like fillings. Oops, binging on carb 🫢

San Jiu Prawn Mee Kuchai

On Wednesday 19.jul.2023, he suggested a new eatery to try out so we went there for brunch.

10.53 am - his small bowl of cham loh yellow noodles mihun MYR 10.90 nett with added 2 ribs MYR 5 nett and 2 chicken feet MYR 3 nett.

Side dish: fish fillet MYR 8 nett. The staff says it is red fish so I think it could be red snapper. The fish meat tastes good. The thin layer of batter tastes a bit sweet to me.

The deep fried shallots placed in the spoon tasted good.

Both small portions have a lot of noodles so the big portions must have a huge amount of noodles.

6 pieces of fish fillets MYR 8 nett.

The greenish garlic dip is a bit spicy and a bit sweet.

I just tried a bit of the sambal, it is spicy and also a bit sweet.

The broth of the prawn Mee is not spicy without adding in the sambal and is a bit sweet. The broth of the loh noodles is sweeter and has a herb taste as the norm with loh noodles broth.

Total: MYR 45.30 nett for 2 pax.

11.52 am - the new roast meat stall at Tim Won coffee shop.

Stir fry Prawn Mee

On Friday 5.may.2023, he chose to eat prawn noodles from Happy Prawn Happy Garden that we used to buy via Foodpanda delivery.

10.48 am - he ordered prawn yellow Mee mihun soup MYR 8.50 nett and one ice Cham drink and one ice barli pumpkin drink.

10.52 am - I am not sure what to order so I ordered stir fry Prawn mihun horfun MYR 9 nett and it is like in the above photo with a bit of eggy gravy. He says that it looks similar to Singapore noodles. Taste is ok, not too eggy so I ate it all.

10.46 am - this is the menu, all written in one language only. Please click on the above photo for a bigger image to read the words. On the menu, the Friday special is braised pork trotter rice MYR 12 nett so he bought one pack without rice for his dinner to eat together with the fish ball fish wanton mihun soup he bought on Thursday from Mountain hill shed.

Total price for 3 food items and 2 drinks is MYR 35.50 nett so the two drinks cost MYR 6 nett only. Affordable price.

10.43 am - this is the eatery called Hakka Delight. The yellow banner says that happy prawn noodles is now available in this shop. Previously this prawn noodles are sold from a stall in a shed next to a field playground opposite this shop in happy garden.

Penang Prawn Mee Oriental Kopi

On Tuesday 7.mar.2023, we stayed home all day and ordered one shopee food delivery from Zhuji Spicy Soup Eatery.

12.06 noon - Oriental Kopi Penang Prawn yellow Mee mix mihun MYR 18.90++ with two prawns with heads and shells. It also has shredded chicken meat, fish cakes, Kang kung and half a hard boiled egg. The broth is a bit spicy and leans more to the sweet side compared to the chicken curry below:

12.04 noon - wanted to order kampung mihun fried chicken pieces but wrote the wrong order number so ended up with chicken curry kampung mihun MYR 17.90++ which is also ok with us.

With a glass of iced white coffee MYR 8.9++ the total price is MYR 53 nett.

4.25 pm - one portion of siew yuk MYR 15.90 nett from chan meng Kee stall, 8th avenue food court for his dinner.

*** Tuesday 7.mar.2023 ***

12.24 noon - shopeefood delivery from Zhuji Spicy Soup Eatery: vinegar pork leg, herbal wild yam huai shan chicken breast soup and fried intestines. Food tastes good. The huai shan chicken soup has a herb which we need to search online to find out it is cordyceps militaris.

Total price inclusive of delivery fees is MYR 33.48 nett which is quite a good price.

In the soup, we noticed orange strips herbs which we found to be cordyceps militaris as shown in the above screen captured online.

4.22 pm - he cooked potatoes, curry leaves and brinjal for my omad and his dinner.
