Tomato Soup Mi Sua

On Monday 17.nov.2025, went to Chun Yang again for food because I want to try the tomato soup noodles.

9.05 am - we bought ytf MYR 14 nett to try:

Capsicum

Red chili

Okra

2 brinjal

Long bean

Bean curd sheet

The seller says the ytf fillings are made by the seller and not bought but we feel that the fillings contain more flour than fish paste.

8.26 am - I ordered tomato soup pork mi sua noodles MYR 12 nett with sourish thick tomato soup. A lot of mi sua so I was very full.

He ordered nasi kunyit pork curry MYR 14.90 nett. The cubes of pork are very firm.

We also ordered a breakfast set MYR 10 nett of hot cham less sweet, Kaya butter toasts and eggs so now there are 3 stamps on the loyalty card.

11.30 am - best by date 16.nov.2025 so we drank the foc sample chocolate protein powder today.

Tomato soup Hog kitchen

On Saturday 7.dec.2024, both of us have no idea where to eat. Then I thought of the spicy tomato pork noodles soup at hk pork noodle hog kitchen that is very popular which we didn't try the time we were there so I suggested to him to go to hog kitchen Sri Petaling.

10.04 am - he ordered tomato soup pork noodles with minced pork, sliced pork, intestines, livers and stomach MYR 20+. He chose crystal noodles which are springy thin QQ noodles, a bit crunchy curly almost like glass noodles.

I ordered wantons dumplings in soup no noodles. There are about 7 wantons. MYR 12.50+

Total price MYR 34.45 nett.

10.16 am - my portion of the tomato broth soup noodles with many slices of lean lean pork meat. The tomato broth is a bit spicy and the thin curly noodles are a bit crunchy. So taste is acceptable.

We didn't order any drinks because we wanted to go to another eatery for coffee but we didn't get to do that due to our car being parked on the grassy roadside area behind hog kitchen eatery so better to vacate that space earlier.

Once home I drank all the remaining iced jasmine tea from ChaPanda bought the previous day. Somewhat bitter but with nice strong Jasmine tea fragrance. Surprisingly I didn't get gastric pain which I usually get after drinking too strong tea and I wasn't hungry at all after that.

Tomato Soup Mixian

On Sunday 13.oct.2024, went to ah Muk cha chaan teng Taman Desa for brunch.

10.23 am - my order of Mixian pork chop egg in tomato soup MYR 18.90+ which tastes good. It has Napa cabbage and soybean puffs in the soup. I like the tomato soup because it is flavourful and I think it has no msg because it doesn't make me feel thirsty afterwards.

I prefer macaroni than mixian. Too bad they don't have the combination of macaroni tomato soup pork chop in the menu. No pork chop combination, just chicken chop, I wonder why.

10.26 am - he ordered dry curry pork chop nissin noodles MYR 17.90+ which doesn't have any eggs. The dry curry gravy is rich and creamy but I suspect they put soy sauce in the nissin noodles so the noodles are very salty, way too salty for us.

Iced black coffee no sugar MYR 4.90+ for me and hot ying Yong aka cham less milk for him MYR 4.90+

Total MYR 51.25 nett.

*** TK Bakery pandan Kaya cake ***

4.39 pm - I ate all the remaining Kaya pandan cake above since I don't want to keep it in the fridge any longer. Bought it on Saturday, one day ago. Normal price MYR 15.60 so after 20% off is MYR 12.48 nett. The top layer is pandan Kaya paste and not pandan Kaya jelly.
