On Saturday 25.may.2024, he went over early morning at 8 am socks and then picked me up to go to Tim Won for brunch at 8.55 am. At 11 am, I walked to take the mrt to kl gateway mall to meet up with my friend whom I have not met for almost 30 years 2.8,2.9 x2. At 3.53 pm, took the lrt and mrt back and walked to 99 where he picked me up for satay dinner at Fatty Mok so I ended up before sleeping with 45.6 number.

1.50 pm - 11 dishes and 4 drinks at Aroii Thai eatery with my 3 friends from 30 years ago. Each item costs the same which is MYR 3.19 nett so the total price for 15 items including drinks is MYR 47.90 nett so 3 paid MYR 12 nett each.

Drinks are already sweetened so it is only possible for the drinks to be less sweet but not totally not sweet.

On Wednesday 14.feb.2024, went over 2x. We ate brunch at Chai Thai Sri Petaling because I couldn't decide on what to eat to celebrate this ♥️💖💌day.

12.26 noon - we shared the above two dishes:

1. Braised pork leg rice MYR 16+ eq MYR 17.60 nett with a foc glass of water without us requesting for the water.

2. Pad Thai set which includes Pandan Lemongrass drink MYR 12+ eq MYR 13.20 nett.

Total price is MYR 30.80 nett.

6.39 pm - chef yaw's precooked frozen meal of chic cloud ear fungus. Kid3 cooked napa cabbages, dried scallops and bunapi mushrooms but the elderly doesn't like to eat bunapi mushrooms so the elderly just ate the napa cabbages after being prompted by kid3 when at first said don't want all the soup.

Thai Chala Sri Petaling

On Friday 26.jan.2024, met up with kid4 team and kid1 for lunch at Traveling Duck Midvalley Mall which kid1 paid. Before that we shared a breakfast set of a drink, toasts and eggs at ACL. After that, ordered delivery from Thong Kee as tea time, shared with kid4 team at the elderly's place after kid3 walked to the nearby stall to buy fish paste spring onions ginger rice MYR 9.50 nett as requested by the elderly which the elderly only ate half a portion and discard the remaining rice and fish paste.

*** Thursday 25.jan.2024 ***

Kid4 suggested Chai Thai Sri Petaling for lunch but it was not opened on Thursday 25.jan.2024 which is a public holiday so kid4 chose another eatery which is Thai Chala Sri Petaling instead.

12.30 noon - these two dishes need 15 minutes to prepare so we ordered them before kid4 team arrived at the eatery:

1. Deep fried boneless chicken with crispy skin and tender meat. The coating is a bit on the salty side and there are fatty bits.

2. Pork neck slices which are quite tasty.

12.35 noon - crispy omelette with minced meat. Can be considered crispy but oily.

12.35 noon - mango salad which I ate the remaining because they say the mango strips are too thick. I like the big thin crispy dried shrimps in this mango salad with raw onions and also the sourish taste but I think it should be less sweet but I guess many customer won't like it to be sour but not sweet so sweet and sour it is then.

Kid4 team ordered fried rice but walked away from almost half a portion because I think they don't want to eat so much rice.

12.38 noon - I ordered this asparagus dish which is about MYR 28++ I think if I remembered correctly. This dish was cleared by kid4 team. The asparagus are tender so I like them but kid3 prefers them without the oyster sauce gravy.

12.39 noon - kid4 team ordered this plate of ferns aka paku. I had to eat the remaining because kid4 says it leaves a waxy feel in the mouth.

12.42 noon - 3 skewers of pork cake which I didn't eat. The 3 of them ate one skewer each so I guess the taste is fine.

12.38 noon - this is my order because instant noodles dish is one of my favourite dish. Tomyam stir fried instant noodles with pork and prawns. A bit too flavourful for me but luckily is sourish after squeezing the lime over the noodles so I ate it all after letting them sampled the taste of the noodles.

12.47 noon - after he has eaten his fill of my instant noodles, this is the remaining portion for me with 3 prawns after he ate 1 prawn.

12.05 noon - his iced coffee which taste nice. We shared a bowl of red ruby dessert which is very nice so will eat this dessert again. I also ordered coconut shake float for myself so I was super duper full after this lunch. The coconut ice cream is tasty and the coconut shake has bits and pieces of coconut meat in it so I will order it again but not in the same meal as the red ruby dessert.

12.03 noon - the cashier counter at Thai Chala. Kid4 paid about MYR 240 ish for this lunch for 4 pax with excess food that I cleared so I almost had to throw up because I was too full but luckily I managed to control myself and didn't throw up though I was very uncomfortable for the next 1 hour after this meal. Serves me right for ordering two desserts 😅

10.42 am - our shared default breakfast at ACL aka Ah Cheng Laksa Midvalley Mall MYR 12.60 nett. Toast Set A with 2 eggs MYR 11.90+; kaya butter toasts, 2 half boiled eggs, 1 cham aka coffee mix tea hot drink.

2.53 pm - ordered food panda delivery from Thong Kee Sri Petaling just before they close for the day:

Fried prawn Mee MYR 10.90 for kid4 team to try

3 curry puffs MYR 9.9 which kid4 team tried half

Green Curry

On Thursday 9.sep.21, dim sum was brought over to the elderlies for their breakfast by kid 3. Lunch and dinner were brought ove by kid 1. Kid 1 and 3 are taking turns to care for the elderlies day to day living since they cannot operate simple equipments like microwave now.

Thu 2.aug.21 12.30 noon - he suddenly wanted to eat green curry so we ordered the above food delivery from Chai Thai Sri Petaling.

12.30 noon - I foolishly selected fish option for the clear tom yum soup instead of seafood, chicken or meat. I thought it would be slices of fish but instead it was chunks of tilapia with lots of bones and fish with a bit of muddy taste so I had to eat the fish as he wasn't that keen on having to eat fish with so many bones with a bit of muddy taste.

The clear tom yum soup was hot and spicy. It was tasty and appetising. Would be very enjoyable to eat with chicken instead of muddy fish with bones. Lesson learnt: never choose fish option without knowing what type of fish it would be.

12.30 noon - his lunch of green curry meat with rice which includes a fried egg. I didn't taste the green curry but he said it was tasty and creamy, not hot and spicy so can order again. Both tom yum and green curry portions are enough for two meals so the remaining portion was kept in the fridge and ate for dinner on the next day.

Clear tom yum with fish option has the highest price which is MYR 34 when compared to the chicken option which has the Lowest price.

8.51 am - dim sum breakfast for the two elderlies. They love the fried carrot cake. Good recommendation from NuxV in her review of this Tastylicious Dim Sum restaurant.

8.08 am - lo Mai Kai - his breakfast before bringing the dim sum over. This lo Mai Kai will suit me very well because it is lard and pork free but both times I didn't manage to try it. Next time then.

Number 1? Means we are the 1st order of the day? 😂We on the app at 7 am but the shop is not opened yet and only placed the order at 7.30 am when the shop has opened for business.

12.19 noon - lunch brought by kid 1 from Bandar Puteri Long Kee at Puchong. Both elderlies eat the exact bowl, one each. Looks tasty 😋.

9.46 am - Shoptoday promo for panda shops. Buy MYR 30 and get a max of MYR 9 off so just bought enough to qualify.

I gave my friend the PressCook ikan terubuk and she made nasi lemak with it and sent me the photo at 3.59 pm to thank me. Yum yummy! 😋😋😋

12.57 noon - his lunch of braised meat with chicken feet and 2 hard boiled eggs with rice bought from Lucky Alley at MYR 11 nett on Sunday 5.sep.21 which he reheated to eat. I just ate a piece of meat and one hard boiled egg.

8.30 am - not my breakfast on Sunday 7 June 2020 d82. One of the eggs is for me.

9.17 am - my breakfast of one slice of wholemeal bread and an egg. Then we went to Midvalley Mall to do an errand after our previous visit there on 14 March 2020 Saturday which is nearly 3 months ago. Since we were there, might as well go to the supermarkets to buy groceries. Q from 10.34 to 11.09 am to enter Aeon Supermarket and paid the bill at 12.27 noon due to having to keep communicating on hp because the orders to buy items kept rolling in. After that, both of us were so hungry that we just have to dine in.

Cutlery is provided in a ziplock bag - very good.

Order done at 1.16 pm.

Wanted to eat at Honolulu Cafe but there was no place to put our shopping cart so went to the eatery opposite. Tables have been removed for social distancing so it was pleasant to dine in with less people around in the dining area.

We kept an eye on our shopping cart which we parked next to our seats but on the outside of the eatery.

We were sitting at the 3rd row which we have vacated when this photo was snapped.

So Thai hou sek is the eatery we dined in during cmco.

12.54 noon - my order was served.

The hot coffee is included in my set lunch with a top up fees. This roast pork fried rice is from the ala carte menu.

Total price is MYR 38.15 nett.

While eating, keep checking the q into Aeon big Supermarket because if short q can go in as well. Long q at 1 pm.

Still got q at 1.15 pm.

1.30 pm still got q.

1.30 pm - go buy kfc for dinner takeaway since no q. Just get scanned for temperature and scan qr code to register and in I go to place my order. 1.5 meter marker to stand.

No q. This is so nice because usually during this time, kfc would be bursting with customers q'ing at the counter.

Impulse buy 15 nuggets for MYR 10 because I was only supposed to buy 3 pieces of chicken ala carte. Total bill MYR 25.30 nett with ala carte 3 pieces chicken at MYR 15.30 nett.

Oh, KyoChon has opened in Midvalley Mall after taking over the shop lot vacated by Tony Roma.

Buying childhood biscuits to fulfill a request.

So many containers of biscuits.

When you were a child, did you eat the biscuits on the left?

Must buy 200g at least so I bought the least and the price is MYR 8.75 nett.

This sultana biscuits were also popular during the time when we were young in primary school.

The biscuits from Aeon on the right is very tasty with sourish pineapple jam as fillings.

1.55 pm - the long, curvy, winding q to enter Jaya Grocer, Gardens Mall so no chance for me to shop there.

I was buying Bak kwa to fulfill a request when I saw the promotion buy two boxes of Bak kwa at MYR 68 nett so I bought two boxes.

Taste better than I thought.

Spent nearly 4 hours in Midvalley Mall just like the good old days but better when dining in due to less people and less crowded but elsewhere in the mall, the people are back, full of people including young children. So it is just like before except people wear masks now. I had my temperature scanned 7 times for entering 7 shops.
