On Friday 27.dec.2024, we went to Pudu at about 8.30 am and reached there in about 10 mins. This is during morning office rush hours and should take more than 1 hour due to traffic congestion but today, the drive was a breeze. I guess everyone is on holiday.

I am happy this morning because I am feeling better and my appetite is back 😁
My headache, vomiting feeling and tummy tenderness have all disappeared without me taking any meds at all, no painkillers no nothing. Just sleep a lot and eat a little easy to digest food for two days.
8.57 am - Special deluxe best ah ma nasi lemak MYR 29.80++ with hot crispy fully fried no bloody bones fried whole chicken which is tasty. The two prawns are a bit mushy powdery in texture, maybe frozen for too long but the onion assam tastes sourish appetisingly good 👍 😋 we shared this dish.
8.41 am - seems like the pandan layered cake and ondeh ondeh cake are must try but our stomach can only fit one so I chose the ondeh ondeh cake.
9.01 am - nice interior
8.59 am - the ondeh ondeh cake after I have eaten the top slice. There are 3 slices stacked on top of each other. Fresh and tasty. No dairy. The coconut cream tastes fine for him so he ate one whole slice when normally he wouldn't eat cakes with dairy cream because he doesn't like to eat dairy products.

The kaya butter toasts are 2nd only to our favourite kaya butter toasts so they are tasty.
8.50 am - the signature onde onde cake MYR 16.90++ which comprises 3 slices stacked on top of each other. I ate two slices and he ate one slice. Due to the almost top view, couldn't really see that there are 3 slices but there really are 3 slices in this photo.
He ordered a cup of hot best ah ma coffee MYR 5.60++ which I only sipped a bit but I could tell it is rich, thick and strong.
I saw the teh halia in the menu and I know he likes strong ginger taste so I suggested that he ordered it as well. Hot ginger sweet tea with two thin slices of preserved ginger in it MYR 9.90++
The ginger taste is robust and strong but the tea is too sweet for him so I drank it all.
9.49 am - 8.30 am to 6.30 pm daily, no rest day.

8.37 am - we parked at a public open air car park and paid the local council parking fees of MYR 1.50 nett per hour for two hours near GD cafe Pudu because he wanted to eat at GD cafe but it only opens at 10.30 am so we walked to Best Ah Ma Cafe nearby.
9.18 am - I pushed myself to eat up all these food and drank all the tea. Fortunately I was well enough not to vomit them all out.
9.53 am - total MYR 81.30 nett for two pax. Good food except for the two prawns. After this brunch, we went to MyTown to drop off some things into the recycling bins.

Went up by 500g because later in the evening I ate a few slices of green gardenia bread and 2 pieces of no sugar chocolate.

10.16 am - this Laaaaa Boooo Boooo soft toy seems to be very popular nowadays because I saw them everywhere I go 😂
11.40 am - ah, this fried rice fuiyoh has arrived in MyTown and there is a queue 😂
It is on L1 043 right opposite ikea
Maybe one day we will try it.
Reached home at about 12.30 noon.
Top is new logo at Sri Petaling. Bottom is existing logo for the original shops at SS2 and Kota Damansara. I wonder 🤔 how many Sri Petaling customers still don't know about this change. Food taste as good as before so no complaints.
