PBJ-4-1-7 Early FP-01

On Tuesday 14.april.2026, woke up early and worked from 7.40 am to 9.50 am before going to pavilion bukit jalil for food.

11.15 am - my portion of food:

Half kaya butter toasts from the breakfast set.

Curry chicken nasi lemak MYR 15.90++

I was very thirsty so I ordered hainanese cham C cold MYR 9.30++ it tastes more like tea than coffee. Total MYR 45.35 nett.

11.51 am - saw this vending machine where you can buy a hanging bag decoration. For MYR 111.80 nett, you could get any of the 7 design randomly, no choosing. I don't carry bags no I don't have any need for bag decorations.

12.36 noon - walking off the food around the mall and saw this pink colour shop with a name that I won't remember because I don't have anything to buy from it.

They have new items on their menu: grouper fillet noodle soup so I ordered it with misua but they say cannot change the noodles from the thick curly crunchy noodles to misua so I asked for no noodles MYR 25.50++ which is the same price as with noodles.

1.17 pm - his pork noodles with misua MYR 20.90++ and my no noodles fish fillet soup MYR 25.50++ so I put the misua from his bowl into my bowl as I wanted to eat misua.

Total MYR 53.80 nett.

1.21 pm - 4 to 6 slices of grouper fish fillets, tomatoes, vege, one rectangle strip of yam, 4 to 6 slices of ginger.

2.17 pm - our usual roasted pear with loquat and chuan bei warm tong sui MYR 20.90 nett.

I ate all 6 pies x 2 packs in one sitting. Also bought 3 different flavours.

Petola Grouper Mihun Soup

On Monday 8.sep.2025, went to Pavilion Bukit Jalil because I wanted to eat the Monday daily special of the Little Eat Shop eatery.

11.44 am - I ordered two bowls of the same noodles which is the Monday Daily Special at MYR 13.90++

The price of this Signature Ocean Grouper Fish Slice Noodles soup is MYR 26.90++ so this promo price of MYR 13.90++ is a very good price indeed. 👍 

The fish slices are not fried.

Previously the Monday daily special is grouper fish head with lots of bones but now, it is fish slice with much lesser bones, just the occasional one or two bones remaining.

The pieces of soft Petola in this Mihun soup is tasty and refreshingly naturally sweet.

I noticed that the butter in the toasts seems to be whipped as it is lighter and fluffier. I prefer the previous solid firm cold butter.

On Thursday 28.aug.2025, he chose to go Pavilion Bukit Jalil for food. Early morning at 8 am, he made smoothie from the only remaining frozen banana and I drank the remaining smoothie.

There are 4 pieces of fish in this bowl of mihun. I like it because it is light tasting and I like the soft petola pieces in the soup.

Grouper Fish Slices

On Monday 11.aug.2025, went to Pearl Point to buy herbal drinks from Koong woh toong.

10.51 am - he ordered:

1. A combo set of grouper fish 5 slices and fish paste soup noodles MYR 28.90+

This set includes a plate of snack crispy fish nuggets and crispy bean curd sheets.

2. A cup of hot chrysanthemum drink MYR 4.50+

I ordered:

Grouper fish 5 slices mihun soup MYR 27.90+ and added beef slices MYR 7.50+ 

I counted 4 thin beef slices 

The mihun is soft and the fish beef slices taste good so they are very suitable for my weak teeth.

12.26 noon we shared a big tub of warm herbal jelly and bought two bottles of herbal drink.

On Monday 7.jul.2025, went to Pavilion Bukit Jalil for food from 10 am to 3 pm, parking fees MYR 6 nett. Bought a kid airism singlet 29.9 1144 from Uniqlo because the size suits me better.

12.33 noon - he wanted to try this Monday daily special bowl of signature ocean grouper fish head noodles soup MYR 13.90++ for about one month and today we specifically make sure it is a Monday so that we can try this Monday special dish. In this soup, there are 4 pieces of petola gourd, not commonly served in this type of fish soup so the soup tastes very good with the natural petola sweet taste. Nett price MYR 16.10 1259 which is a good price 👍 😊 

12.50 noon -my portion with 2 pieces of petola and one small piece of fish. So much bones from the pieces of fish head. The mihun noodles are very soft which I like. I drank all the soup.

I am afraid of handling fish bones so I will not order fish head but I will order fish slices instead.

Total: MYR 44.90 nett 1055, about MYR 8 more than the usual MYR 36.90 nett.

After the two meals above, my tummy was rumbling with digestive juices and I regurgitated the food once so I knew I had to eat more proteins before completing my meals so I searched for food in the mall until I decided on having slice beef rice 🍚 in sushi zanmai which did the job. No more rumbling tummy. No more regurgitation. The beef rice made the tummy stop making a fuss.

When home, I continued to eat the cherries from the previous day. Ate another batch of 20 cherries 🍒 

Just now I saw a box 400g cherries being sold in food merchant supermarket for about MYR 37 a box with buy 1 box get 1 box free cherries. After attempting to select 2 boxes I noticed that the size of the cherries is M size and the cherries look smaller than the ones I bought so I abandoned the move to buy 2 boxes of 400g M sized cherries although the promotion is very attractive with the promo price of MYR 37 for 2x400g eq 800g M cherries

6 pm - ate 20 cherries 🍒 enjoying myself to the max because I love to eat 🍒
