3.49 pm - I ate 1 of 8 tea eggs MYR 1.50 nett per egg that we bought from Fah Lian Herbs shop in OUG with 1 slice of green rainbow bread. This is my favourite tea egg because it has a strong herb taste. He also bought burdock soup MYR 5 nett from Yau Yek chapfan eatery in OUG and 4 bottles of herbal tea MYR 5 nett per bottle from Fah Lian Herbs shop in OUG.

On Tuesday 23.jul.2024, no parking at million ocean coffee shop so went to swee Hing Sri Petaling for brunch.

11.12 am - he ordered curry noodles with whole pieces of chicken MYR 14 nett. We shared a cup of iced cham drink MYR 3.50 nett.

11.13 am - another look at the rich thick not that spicy curry noodles soup.

11.17 am - I bought a pack of purple ang ku with mung beans paste fillings because I wanted to use up the 80 cents coins that I have. Taste good not that sweet MYR 2.80 nett for one pack of two angku kuih from aroma nyonya.

From the ccf stall, I bought 2 brinjal, 2 okra, 2 bitter gourd ytf with half a piece of ccf MYR 14 nett to share with him.

1.39 pm - I ate the half remaining 🥑 avocado that he kept for me from his breakfast with green sprouted 7 grains bread.

On Monday 22.jul.2024, he thought of going to 126 Kopitiam Sri Petaling for brunch so we went.

9.51 am - my chapfan no rice: 2 braised eggs, broccoli 🥦, okra MYR 8 nett. We shared one iced cham drink.

9.48 am - his two soft boiled eggs and our shared iced cham drink MYR 7.10 nett. His Kai see hor fun noodles soup.

9.57 am - my portion of his remaining Kai see hor fun noodles soup.

10.27 am - after brunch, he walked to golden chopsticks coffee shop which is just located in the back row and bought two types of vege from the chapfan stall total MYR 2 nett only so I don't know why the lady charged him so low price for his two vegetable dishes. 

Then he also bought roast meat siew yuk roast chicken from the roast meat stall in the same shop MYR 10 nett and ate them immediately when he got home when they are supposed to be for his dinner in the evening.

*** Clear Fridge Food ***

1.27 pm - I wasn't hungry but I need to clear food from the Fridge before they go bad so I ate some pistachios, the last 2 slices of double cheese toast from Verona bakery bought on 10.jul.2024 which is 12 days ago.

After that I am on a go to clear fridge food so I ate all the remaining lemon butter cake from Yin's Sourdough bought on 26.jun.2024 which is 26 days ago.

This lemon butter cake is baked using good ingredients so it is very buttery and lemony. Taste very good 👍 😋 but I am now suited for light tasting food so this cake is too rich for me. After eating all of it, I was super full so I must remember this.

When I woke up in the morning, I was not hungry and was in no mood for food but ended up I ate a lot to clear food from fridge. What a contradiction. Not a good feeling to eat when not in a mood to eat.

On Sunday 21.jul.2024, went to midvalley mall for food.

Wanted to eat the chocolate cake but all cakes are sold out. New cakes will be delivered on Tuesday so I just order a chocolate croissant MYR 7.9++ and a cinnamon danish MYR 3.8++ because I already ordered a fish bagel with black coffee set before knowing that the cake is not available so couldn't walk away.

10.20 am - Fish bagel MYR 12.90++ add-on MYR 3++ for a cup of coffee. The potato hash browns are quite salty. The 2 pieces of fried fish fillet taste ok.

10.20 am - all 4 items.

10.28 am - coleslaws as fillings.

10.51 am - I didn't know that there are cream inside the chocolate croissant 🥐 very very sweet. The cinnamon danish has very very light cinnamon taste until almost undetectable.

Total price MYR 32 nett. 

After this snack, went to family mart and bought a cup of iced black coffee MYR 5.90 nett. Very fragrant and refreshing cold coffee drink.

Long Chen Toast House Sri Petaling

On Saturday 20.jul.2024, don't know where to eat so I suggested a place where he mentioned before, Long Chen at Sri Petaling.

11.40 am - he chose seafood noodles soup and chose glass noodles MYR 20.90+ 

We didn't expect it to be put inside aluminium foil.

11.37 am - sign in as member and got a foc iced Hainam coffee worth MYR 3.90+

He ordered iced Hainam cham MYR 4.90+

Hainam butter Kaya MYR 3.20+

The coffee tastes richer than the cham.

11.41 am - I ordered toasts with curry chicken MYR 10.90+ 

There were two slices of toast and one drumstick cut into two pieces with potatoes in the curry. A bit spicy. Taste good.

11.56 am - my portion of his glass noodles. The prawns are firm so are quite fresh.

New Eatery Sri Petaling

On Friday 19.jul.2024, went to try out a new eatery in Sri Petaling that just opened about one week I think. It was his idea.

10.34 am - tobiko prawn cheesy baked rice MYR 17.90+ which is very rich and creamy. The salt level is just right 👍 Had to wait for it to cool down before eating it as it was served very piping hot. I was feeling full after eating one quarter as it was very rich and creamy as mentioned above.

10.13 am - both of us selected main meals from these two pages of popular items in this eatery.

10.16 am - 3 pastries MYR 10.90+ which is lard char siew pastry, egg tart and polo bun char siew. All taste ok.

10.23 am - his hot coffee non sweet MYR 4.90+ and his mixian pork chop in tomato soup MYR 18.90+

10.25 am - my chilled ying Yong aka cham drink MYR 7.50+ and my prawn cheesy baked rice MYR 18.90+ 

10.31 am - the egg tart is very creamy and easy to eat.

10.38 am - my portion of his mixian. I like the tomato soup because it is sourish. The pork chop is tender. I ate this mixian after eating one quarter of my cheese baked rice so I was full after this but continued to stuff all the cheese baked rice into my tummy so I was super duper full and thus, my Omad is completed for this day.

11.09 am - total bill is MYR 66.10 nett. We parked the car at the store open Aired car park for 2 hours MYR 4 nett.

10.01 am - this new eatery has the yellow signboard. The branch at Taman Desa is going to open soon so we will go there on Sundays.

Small Good Portion

On Thursday 18.jul.2024, went to midvalley mall for an errand, ate lunch at Mak's Chee eatery and then went to the hospital to collect meds for the elderly.

We always order these 3 food items and no drinks at this eatery and go for coffee at ACL.

11.26 am - I ordered this small bowl of broad wanton noodles in soup with beef tendon and brisket and ate it with pickled green chillies. Tasty 😋 👍 MYR 15.90++

11.28 am - his lard rice luncheon meat egg dish MYR 16.90++ which I ate half of his lard rice. We also shared a bowl of 3 wantons 2 dumplings suigao in soup MYR 15.90++ I like the smooth slippery flour skin wrappings for the wantons and suigao and also the whole prawns fillings. 👍 Good quality and tasty. 😋 

A good brunch for 2 pax because the portion is small since we ordered small portions for all 3 food items and the food is tasty 😋 that we won't feel too full after eating but still feel satisfied.

I bought a packet each of cut fruits at MYR 2.50 nett each: mango, watermelon, pineapple and he requested for guava so total is MYR 10 nett. Ate them all there and then and finished the guava and pineapple immediately when reached home.

A Cham drink at ACL MYR 6.25 nett. After taking a sip of this drink, my Omad is completed for this day.
