One Open Again

Wednesday 24.nov.21 is kid 1's day so we went out to buy food takeaway for ourselves only. One of the two stalls that were closed the previous time we were there is open now so it is good to see that the stall operator has fully recovered from the infection. The other stall operator is an elderly man, much much older than this recovered man so hopefully the elderly is ok.

Thursday 25.nov.21 8.08 am - this is my favourite soup 3jc MYR 6.50 nett shared by the 2 of us for breakfast. Bought on Wednesday from the man who has recovered.

Wed 24.nov.21 4.44 pm - finally I took time to eat all the remaining butter cake I bought from Paul's bakery in pavilion mall on Fri 5.nov.21 which is about 19 days again. Very buttery but too sweet for me so I don't think I will buy this butter cake again because it is too sweet for me although it is very, very buttery.

Wed 24.nov.21 3.54 pm - this is my portion of duck breast meat and siew yuk rice. Just two pieces each is enough for me. This duck and siew yuk rice costs MYR 9.50 nett from lucky Alley coffee shop.

We also bought ccf with ytf MYR 13 nett, hailam char drink MYR 2.80 nett, wanton Mee siew yuk MYR 6.50 nett, 2 egg tarts and 2 siew Bao MYR 7.90 nett from Choy Kei coffee shop.

Hock Yee Ulu Yam Loh Mee OUG

Tuesday 23.nov.21 is his day to supply lunch to the Elderlies so he went over at 11.30 am and used shopeefood to order the lunch. I was having a bit of nausea symptoms which I believe is from the booster so I was in bed nearly the whole day. 

3.55 pm - I only got up at this time to eat this two packs of soy desserts from soy bar from Tien Yuen coffee shop bought on Monday, the previous day. Each pack costs MYR 5 nett.

4.30 pm - then I ate the final 6 of 6 jelly coconut bought on Friday, 3 days ago. I kept it in the chiller but it has a slimy liquid on top which I washed off before eating the jelly coconut which taste a bit fermented.

6.30 pm - I then finished up his remaining fried rice for him. Bought together with the elderlies' lunch.

6.52 pm - I ate half a salted egg pastry, MYR 3.20 nett and one egg tart MYR 2.20 bought from Tien Yuen coffee shop on the previous day, Monday for a sweet ending to my meals for this day.

These are the food he bought for the Elderlies for lunch using shopeefood. Can see from the above, there are many discounts available by using shopeefood.

He prefers the wat tan hor to the loh Mee because the wat tan hor has got wok hei. He ate half the fried rice for lunch and a quarter for dinner before I finished the last quarter. Standard fried rice with wok hei. I felt better at night. No longer having nausea symptoms.

Mix and Match

Monday 22.nov.21 is kid 1's day and also the day where those people who would like to register for the booster vaccination can so at any clinics that provide this booster vaccination. We called the nearest clinic to register at around 11 am and were placed in a waiting list with about 30 persons in front of us. At 2.20 pm we received a call from the clinic saying got slots available so we quickly went there and got our booster vaccination which is a mix and match. So far till now at 3 am I am still feeling ok, no fever and no headache.

11.50 am - his lunch of lam Mee bought the previous day from tuck tuck tei coffee shop.

5.06 pm - my one meal of the day to clear all food from previous days from the fridge.

6.24 pm - his dinner of hokkien style stir fry noodles and Mee hoon bought from Tien Yuen coffee shop after our booster vaccination as we parked the car near the coffee shop and walked to the clinic.

Soy Knot

Sunday 21.nov.21 is kid 1's full day so we only bought own food via Foodpanda and went to collect the food ourselves.

12.10 noon - top - economy Rice dishes without rice from tuck tuck tei coffee shop at MYR 5 nett. I like the soy knot dish a lot.

Bottom - nasi lemak prawn sambal from Sepetang coffee shop. I ate half and kept half for another day.

11.45 am - dry chicken strips hor fun. The hor fun is smooth and soft so it is nice to eat but the taste is a bit too salty. This stall is in tuck tuck tei coffee shop.

6.07 pm - my portion of flat broad wanton noodles.

Pick Up Drunk Cat

On Saturday 20.nov.21, we supply both lunch and dinner to the elderlies.

6.20 pm - my dinner of bean curd rice set with a bit of prawn fried rice and a bit of pork chop and fries from the previous day lunch. Also kept half the pork chop and rice in my container to be put in the fridge.

11.22 am - he went over to receive the food he ordered from Chok Kar Chong Taman Gembira via grabfood to be delivered directly to the elderlies for lunch. He also accompanied the elderlies during lunch and ate one pack of the grouper fish fillets mee hoon that he included in his order for his own lunch so I didn't get to try the fish fillet meehoon.

5.30 pm - we placed the order above using food panda and we went there to pick up the food from Drunk Cat Restaurant Kuchai and sent the food to the elderlies for their dinner. We share the Bean curd rice set and fried rice for dinner. Both dishes taste good and can be ordered again.

ShopeeFood

On Friday 19.nov.21, he ordered food for us using Shopeefood.

6 pm - shared this wanton noodles curry Mee for dinner. Very creamy curry with lots of long beans and brinjal. Taste good but a bit too rich for me.

11.08 am - the curry broth and noodles are in separate cardboard containers. The cover is not that water leak proof so some curry broth leaked out.

11.51 am - meals ordered for lunch. They gave 3 bags of condiments / sauces.

11.59 am - the 3 condiments / sauces:

1. Red sambal with anchovies bits and onions in it.

2. Dark sambal with belacan and lots of dried shrimps.

3. Sweet chili sauce.

I only eat a bit of each. Hopefully can specify no condiments and no sauces next time.

12.26 noon - kept this much for the next day. I like to eat lean meat like this meat in the photo.

We ordered from 10 Kopitiam Bukit Jalil using Foodpanda many times. This time, he used Shopee Food. Can see the words Shopee Food on the receipt faintly. I am not sure why there is no chicken meat in the curry noodles we received when the receipt wrote Hainanese chicken curry noodles.

5.47 pm - received this photo via wataps from the neighborhood fruit stall. Am so tempted that we went out to buy them.

6.40 pm - ate one. They are quite small at MYR 8 nett each but MYR 40 nett for 6 so we bought 6. Yummy! Coconut jelly! 😋😋😋

Not Open

On Thursday 18.nov.21, we went to buy takeaway lunch for the elderlies. Our two favourite stalls - seafood noodles and 3jc - were closed so I asked the coffee shop operator and he said Chung Jor. 

Chung Jor is Cantonese which loosely translate to Got it. When people strike lottery, they will also say Chung Jor. In this case, he means they are infected. I hope they will recover fully. The coffee shop was closed last week for cleaning and disinfecting.

1 pm - since the two stalls are closed, I bought ccf for the Elderlies and also for our own lunch. Chose sweet brown sauce mixed with curry gravy. Taste quite nice. Also bought fish paste meehoon at MYR 11 nett for them.
