The taro paste is not sweet and not savoury, just taro taste with a bit of powdered milk taste so he just tried a bit of it as he says that his throat will feel as if it will seize up after he ate dairy products except for non cooked butter.
12.48 noon - I ordered taro paste butter toasts MYR 9.90++ and cold coffee MYR 7.90++
He ordered soft boiled eggs MYR 4.90++ and hot cham drink MYR 6.90++
We shared the kaya butter toasts MYR 5.90++ but I requested him to eat more of the pandan kaya butter toasts as the pandan kaya tastes don't go well with the taro paste taste which still lingers in my mouth.
1.16 pm - Biao Di kopitiam Pearl Point. It is near Mr. Fish eatery.
Total price MYR 41.20 nett for two drinks, 2 types of toasts and 1 portion of 2 soft boiled eggs.
11.15 am - he wanted to eat the two pieces of fried seabass fillet he saw advertised as being a promo at MYR 3.80+ so he ordered lala squid soup thin mihun no milk MYR 22.70+ with the fried seabass fillet.
11.23 am - not sure why the squid is served separately in a small bowl of soup.
11.24 am - he put the squid on top of his noodles.
Total MYR 24.95 nett for his meal. I didn't order anything
11.59 am - I ordered beef slices pho soup MYR 26.90++ which is MYR 3++ more than other beef mix pho soup options. He didn't order anything but just watched me eat my meal.
