Buy 4 packs of blueberries for the price of 3 packs. On average it is about MYR 9 per pack. Mini pineapples that are very sweet. 5 for about MYR 8 nett.

3 singo Pears from Korea at MYR 14.99 and 3 singo Pears from China at MYR 12.88 with one golden pear from China at MYR 4.99 so 7 pears in total.

The singo pear is sweet with a finer texture than the golden pear which is crunchy and juicy.

On Thursday 20.jan.22, lunch for the Elderlies it is.

*** Domino's Pizza ***

12.09 noon - ordered a regular pizza with 4 different types of toppings from Domino's Pizza for myself.

I chose mozzarella cheese Tarik crust so the crust at the rim contains mozzarella cheese. Very tasty. I planned to eat one quarter of the pizza but ended up eating 3 quarters of the pizza and keeping only 1 quarter in my fridge. I was so full after that, definitely over eating these few days.

After deducting all the discounts, this pizza costs MYR 21.84 nett inclusive of delivery fees.

*** Nature's Wonders ***

12 noon - received my order of snacks from nature's wonders.

Online order with a discount of MYR 25 nett.

Delivery fees are MYR 10 nett.

*** His dinner ***

5.17 pm - his dinner of porridge, pork ribs, beancurd rolls and lotus leaf glutinous rice from Jin Xuan Hong Kong dim sum eatery. I didn't eat any dinner because I was still full from lunch.

*** Elderlies lunch ***

11.50 am - bought two packs of this 3jc noodles. Supposed to be mihun but was given hor fun. One pack is for the Elderlies and one pack is for his lunch.

Around MYR 11 nett off.

The yong tofu items and Chee cheong fun noodles are for the Elderlies. 

*** Bread for Elderlies ***

Bought cabbage and ice cream to reach MYR 22 so that we can use the extra35 promo code.

11.41 am - both of us shared this dragon fruit.

11.12 am - top ten chocolate ice cream stick with vanilla fillings.

11.14 am - must have desserts after savoury food.

Knuckles Tendon

On Wednesday 19.jan.22, we ordered delivery for ourselves.

*** Jazz Cafe ***

11.23 am - vinegar trotter rice at MYR 14 nett. The gravy doesn't look thick but the taste is good enough. The meat can be softer so the Elderlies wouldn't like this.

Thursday 20.jan.22 9.02 am - wanton noodles from the previous day bought from Jazz Cafe. Taste ok.

Didn't take photo of the braised pork rice eaten as dinner on Wednesday. Used extraong promo code to get MYR 10 off.

*** Rue Ee ***

The elderlies' favourite dish - knuckles and tendon dish at MYR 39 nett. No delivery, just arrange for own pickup. Just bought it for our own consumption because kid1 will buy this dish for the Elderlies occasionally.

This is the dish - the top most dish on this menu page.

This is the restaurant Rue Ee. I think I only have had dinner in this restaurant once back in February 2020 before the pandemic started.

Ruth Coconut Tarts

On Tuesday 18.jan.22, we ordered 3 deliveries and he took the food over to the Elderlies for lunch and tea.

5.49 pm - Hakka noodles as dinner shared by 2 pax. Taste is acceptable. 

12 noon - bought an assortment of pastries.

12.17 noon - coconut tart. Not too bad but I prefer egg tarts more than coconut tarts.

11.53 am - shared brunch. I like this lo Mai Kai because the glutinous rice is soft and flavourful but not too salty.

11.25 am - there are two pei Dan aka century egg siew Mai dumplings, one each. The fillings taste like chicken meat.

The above food are bought from Ruth coffee shop.

He gave two egg tarts to the Elderlies for tea time. The siew Bao has small cubes of meat in it so it is tasty. I like the taste of the kaya puff kaya fillings so I can buy more kaya puffs next time.

1.49 pm - bought 2 daikons and a bag of 11 carrots because I have remaining beef broth from pho Vietz in my fridge.

3.57 pm - cook them in water using a rice cooker without any seasonings, no salt. Didn't use the beef broth to cook and I just drank the beef broth after putting in cooked Daikin and cooked carrots into it.

Wed 19.jan.22 12.57 noon - ate them cold the next day. Naturally sweet from the carrots and daikons.

Bought a box of 6 mini nestle la cremeria chocolate ice creams to reach MYR 22 to use extra35 promo code to get MYR 8 off.

Ordered 4 packs of chicken thigh hor fun for the elderlies lunch and his lunch to reach MYR 35 to use OngEats Promo code to get About MYR 10 off because the total price for 3 packs is the same as the total price for 4 packs with the promo code. He ate pack 4 as breakfast the next day.

Pho Vietz Pearl Point Delivery

On Monday 17.jan.22, we stayed at home the whole day and ordered one food delivery to cover all meals for this day. It has been more than two years since we ate meals at Pho Vietz.

12 noon - sliced beef pho soup from Pho Vietz. My teeth are not strong enough for the beef slices so I just swallowed some slices that I failed to chew into tiny bits.

The soup was delivered in a cardboard tub container whereas the pho and herbs were placed in a plastic container that also served as the cover for the tub.

This is the 4 combo beef pho soup after I have poured out the soup. It has 2 beef meatballs, beef slices and beef shanks with stripes of tendon in between the meat. Not sure what is the 4th item because I cannot tell the difference between the pieces of beef.

3.30 pm - we shared this dry grilled pork fried popiah vermicelli as a snack. I didn't use the sauce provided and just ate it as a salad.

6 pm - we shared this lemongrass chicken chop rice as dinner. The boneless chicken thigh is nicely marinated and tender.

All the food from Pho Vietz. I didn't eat any of the 3 tubs of sauces because the food is flavourful enough. Such a waste.

I placed the order at 11 am and received the food at 11.36 am. Very fast.

MYR 12 off using OngEats Promo code so that means can be considered as getting a free delivery. Roughly MYR 16 per dish. Satisfying meals for one day. Another two years before ordering from Pho Vietz again?

Pak Kopi Food Truck Taman Desa

 On Sunday 16.jan.22, we went to Taman Desa to buy takeaway food.

Bought 4 types of drink from a coffee truck in Taman Desa. Total price is MYR 17.60 nett.

This is the coffee Truck. 

Our brunch. 3jc noodles and economy rice from tuck tuck tei coffee shop. I chose pumpkin, bitter gourd, broccoli+cauliflower, egg tofu, one hard boiled braised egg, sweet sour pork and a small portion of rice for MYR 10 nett.

This is the 3jc stall at Tuck Tuck Tei coffee shop. I bought 3 packs of regular portion noodles from it at MYR 7 nett each. Taste fine.

Leong Wei Coffee Shop Delivery

On Saturday 15.jan.22, we provided Joss sticks, bread, lunch and dinner for the Elderlies by ordering delivery.

9.27 am - shared breakfast of a large portion of prawn yellow noodles and mihun. Very flavourful with lots of ingredients. All three types of noodles are bought using panda food delivery from Leong Wei Coffee Shop. Can buy this prawn Mee again.

1.16 pm - my lunch of Kai see hor fun. Let him try a bit only. I prefer thong Kee Kai see hor fun because the thong Kee hor fun has more taste of rice.

1.36 pm - his lunch of lam Mee. I ate a bit and found that the lam Mee noodles are too filling.

 

1.32 pm - after lunch, I ate one whole pack of 6 Julie Chocolate sandwich biscuits as dessert.

Three pack of noodles from Leong Wei Coffee Shop. Har Mee is large portion so the price is higher but I use the OngEats Promo Code to get almost MYR 10 off.

Ordered Joss sticks delivery from kk mart and bought other items to reach MYR 35 so that I can use shopextra promo code to get MYR 10 off the total price.

Bought bread for the Elderlies using Pandamart and bought other items to reach MYR 22 so that I can use the extra35 promo code to get almost MYR 8 off. He cooked one of the romaine lettuce during dinner for the Elderlies.

Lunch delivery direct to the Elderlies so didn't buy enough to use promo code so just use jazz cafe cash back code for almost MYR 2 off. The tofu prawn rice is ok but the wanton Mee is too salty according to their feedback.

6.16 pm - he joined the Elderlies for dinner and cooked rice and Romaine lettuce to supplement the fish and egg he ordered from Lan Jie Fish eatery using Grabfood. As before, they love to eat this steamed fish.
