15 years old dried tangerine peel

On Monday 2.jun.2025, we went to Midvalley mall because it is a public holiday.

*** Ben's at Midvalley Mall ***

10.53 am - only the breakfast menu is available so I ordered:
1. The great Aussie plate MYR 38++ which has half an avocado 🥑, half a tomato, omelette on toast, salmon flakes and spinach with a wedge of lemon. Yummy 😋 as the taste is clean since there is no gravy of any sort.
2. Mini nasi kerabu ayam percik MYR 15++ which has a wedge of salted egg, long bean, chicken thigh, fish crackers, two cloves of garlic in budu sauce and blue pea flower rice.
3. Iced long black MYR 12++
Total MYR 75.40 nett.
They provide two glasses of lemon infused water foc.

11.03 am - my portion after he has tried a bit of each item. I didn't detect any butter in this dish so he could eat more of it if he wanted to but he was full as he has already eaten his brunch at Nanyang Cafe Midvalley Mall.

11.23 am - my portion after he has eaten the chicken thigh as I requested him to do so. I can taste the herbs so this dish is tasty too.

12.05 noon - Ben's cafe is located on the ground floor south court in Midvalley Mall.

12.06 noon - total MYR 75.40 nett. I will be back. With the brunch, I completed my meals for this day.

Morning 44.25
Next morning 43.95
Removed 300g water due to completing omad early before 1 pm.

*** Nanyang Cafe Midvalley Mall ***

  1. That's interesting! I never knew that there is such thing as vintage tangerine peel and that it can be kept for so long! I suppose the flavor is more intense?

  3. Well in the first place I don't use these. Even red bean with peel also, I prefer no peel.
