Radish Beef Noodles

We have not been to Yang Kee, OUG and the area around it since our previous lunch there on Sunday 15 March 2020 which was about 3 months ago. Yesterday Monday 8 June 2020 d83, we were in the vicinity so we decided to take away some food from Yang Kee. Thought it was closing for the day when we saw the shutters are pulled over the entrance partly at 4 pm. Then I decided to go ask them whether or not they are still open.

They are open. This is how they operate during the cmco duration - with a barricade to prevent people from entering the shop freely.

I see a table occupied by two customers so they have allowed dining in. The barricade is for them to better control the situation.

Takeaway one big portion of noodles with radish Beef stew at MYR 11.50 nett.

Breakfast at 9 am. At last, we managed to buy fresh mushrooms on Sunday.

 My portion with bread.

Pack 1. Ate them all at 1 pm as lunch.

 3 layers only.

Hoen Kwe powder is an important ingredient. It is made from mung bean.

Pack 2. Ate half for lunch.

Continue to finish all of pack 2 at 5 pm for dinner. Now as I am typing this sentence and looking at the pandan layered cake photo, I felt like eating them again. I never learn do I.

  1. Good thing you went and check whether they're open instead of assuming it wasn't.
