Midvalley The Nasi Lemak Shop

On Tuesday 30.sep.2025, went to Nam Heong pinnacle for breakfast with guest and then go to Midvalley mall to eat lunch at The Nasi Lemak Shop which opens today.

11.08 am - I ordered lontong nasi impit MYR 16.90++ which is very tasty 😋 there are two pieces of sambal sotong aka squid with lots of vegetables and tempeh. Will definitely order this dish again.

My cold coffee C no sugar MYR 6.50++ and his hot lemon barley MYR 5.50++

He ordered nasi lemak fried chicken MYR 16.90++

Add on one fried chicken whole leg MYR 10.90++ for the guest and beef rendang MYR 12.90++ to share.

Total MYR 80.75 nett and they gave us a voucher for buy one get one free nasi lemak fried chicken valid during weekdays from 3 pm to 6 pm expiry date 7oct2025.

10.50 am - the nasi lemak shop opens today with many bouquets of congratulations flowers.

11.07 am - it occupies two shop units previously occupied by:

12.03 noon - the nasi lemak shop even rented the space in front of bananabro shop to be its dining area.

*** Kwan Kee Midvalley Mall ***

12.46 noon - bought one mango sago pomelo sticky rice roll MYR 8.90 nett and one steamed hawthorn cake roll MYR 8.90 nett for the guest to try. Each roll is cut into 4 pieces shared by 3 pax. The above photo shows the remaining pieces. Not that sweet so is very tasty 😋 

*** Temple Street changed name ***

12.51 noon - noticed that Temple Street eatery has changed the name to Sin Man Kee.

Bought pastries and cookies for the guest.

12.58 noon - 3 pieces of chocolate chips sourdough cookie MYR 10+

2x choco banana blueberry danish MYR 9.45+ x2

2x pistachio danish MYR 12+ x2

*** CU Gardens Mall ***

2.01 pm - washroom break so I waited at CU after buying one lime vanilla ice cream MYR 1.80 nett from CU. He bought a glass of cold long black about MYR 7 from CU.

*** Nam Heong pinnacle condo ***

Our breakfast:

8.26 am - ordered two promo breakfast sets MYR 6.50 nett, one set for him and one set for the guest.

8.27 am - one portion of president butter toast MYR 4++ for me and one basket of 3 siew Mai MYR 7++ for him and the guest.

8.27 am - the president butter toasts have thick butter slabs as fillings compared to the promo set toasts with thinly spread melted butter.
