On Friday 20.sep.2024, went to Warisan Kopi happy garden but it was closed for kitchen maintenance so went to next door choy kei coffee shop for brunch.

*** Nestle Frozen Yogurt Ice Cream ***

11.02 am - after our brunch, I waited for him to buy takeaway siew yuk from Canton-Z and saw a kk promo for nestle new drumstick ice cream Fro Yo Frozen Yogurt Cone MYR 3 nett when lowest price online is MYR 3.50 nett but kk usual price is MYR 4.50 nett so bought one to try. Sourish creamy yogurt taste so is nice 👍 😋 

The official marketing description given is:

"Creamy frozen yogurt ice cream meets the irresistible crunch of caramel flakes and delightful chocolate ripples, all wrapped up in a striking black cone."

11.04 am - creamy sourish sweet cold yogurt.

10.27 am - he bought 3jc soup noodles MYR 9 nett. 1 big hot Hainan coffee and 1 iced coffee with 2 soft boiled eggs MYR 11 nett.

10.35 am - he put the two soft boiled eggs into the 3jc soup noodles. The 3jc rectangle meat ball is now less dense in texture.

10.31 am - I ordered 4 deshelled prawns with daun sup celery leaves vege and lettuce in soup without noodles MYR 10 nett.

*** Canton-Z Happy Garden ***

11.23 am - Canton-Z is doing roaring business when he queued up. He just say char siew and siew yuk no rice and the seller gave him the 1 pax portion of mixed meat and charged him MYR 10 nett so the meat is not that much but sufficient for 1 pax 1 meal. He ate it at home at 11.30 am.

Iberican Noodle Sri Petaling

On Thursday 19.sep.2024, we went to a new eatery in Sri Petaling that he told me about, called Iberican Noodle House that held its soft opening on 29.june.2024 which is about 2.5 months ago.

Tomorrow mitasu buffet eatery will have its soft opening at pinnacle condo.

*** Iberican Noodle House ***

11.30 am - I ordered this bone in chop dish which is on promotion after we have finished eating the two items that we ordered. Tender meat with a bit of fat edges, tasty 😋 so I will order it again as long as the promotion is available.

The coleslaw and mashed potatoes is tasty too. Not too flavourful so is suitable for me too.

11.04 am - bone in chop promotion. Normal price MYR 49.90+ promo price MYR 25.90+

11.05 am - his order of bamboo noodles with soft bones meat and braised abalone MYR 28.90+ dry version. I prefer the meat to have less soy sauce taste.

11.09 am - my order of grilled iberico loin chop MYR 23.90+ with tender lean meat which is very suitable for me but is quite a thin piece so I ordered the promo bone in chop dish.

1.47 pm - lard egg tart MYR 3 nett and salted egg yolk lotus pastry MYR 4.50 nett from tk bakery. Taste better than many that we have been eating recently.

2.14 pm - I found that he has kept half an avocado 🥑 for me in the fridge when I opened the fridge door so I ate it with one slice of rainbow bread.

12.38 noon - 3 lard egg tarts at MYR 3 nett each and 1 salted egg yolk lotus pastry MYR 4.50 nett so total MYR 13.50 nett.

TNR SS2

On Wednesday 18.sep.2024, he wanted to eat brunch at TNR by Sean & Angie PJ SS2 so we started our drive at 10 am and reached there at 10.30 am taking okr, jln templer, jln 222 pj because salak highway is still congested at this hour. We parked by the roadside parking space and paid 60 cents per hour for two hours using app.

10.47 am - he ordered:

1. signature char siew Hakka noodles MYR 18++ with default minced meat and fish flakes. I tried the noodles and prefer it to be less salty.

2. add-on siew yuk MYR 7.80++

3. Small portion Atomic Kai Choi MYR 8.80++ which I find it to be a bit over my comfortable level of spiciness.

10.50 am - I ordered the Wednesday special which is  rendang rice chicken but was told it was sold out so I ordered premium hickory smoked whole chicken leg MYR 17.50++ which is an ala carte item without rice. The chicken is juicy and tender but I find it too smokey.

Registered with the app and redeemed a foc cup of hot herbal tea.

11.33 am - total price MYR 54.55 nett.

11.33 am - TNR by Sean and Angie shop which is located on the same row as restaurant Chow Yhang. Then we walked around the two rows of shops to see whether or not there is anything else we wanted to eat and ended up at HK Porky Noodles at the row of shops behind TNR.

11.51 am - we ordered from the Ketogenic Meal section of the menu which means no noodles, only ingredients. K02 which has deep fried lard, intestines, stomach, liver, pork slices, minced meat in soup MYR 21.50+ with lots of lettuce.

I ordered one iced mocha coffee which is not that sweet MYR 8.50+

Took umsc, gasing road back and ended up at oug fah Lian herbal shop due to motorcycles blocking the route so he asked me to buy 2 bottles of sugar free herbal drinks but I bought 3 bottles at MYR 5 nett about 500 ml each 1 pm:

1. Sore throat aphonia which is sourish 

2. Liver heat

3. Bitter Tea 

At 3 pm, I ate all remaining 4 mini red bean paste mooncakes as junk food snack. 😜

Tablespoon moon cakes

On Tuesday 17.sep.2024, I say I will not buy moon cakes this year but today I read about 仪式感Yíshì gǎn which means Sense of ceremony aka Sense of ritual so I went to buy one pack of 5 mini red bean moon cakes MYR 3.50 nett 🌝

中秋节快乐 everyone! 🌝 

When young, we used to put a table in the garden and put mini yams, water caltrops that look like horns, mooncakes, pomelos on the table and eat the food sitting in the full moonlight. When younger, we used to walk around the housing Taman with lanterns. Now we don't do anything.

12.16 noon - red bean paste fillings. Taste ok. I like the baked taste of the molasses dough pastry skin.

10.28 am - set B MYR 7.90+ which includes a hot coffee, 2 soft boiled eggs and double Kaya butter toasts.

10.34 am - small bowl of nasi lemak deep fried boneless chicken chop MYR 6.90+ which is just right for the two of us to have a taste. The chicken is warm with crispy skin and juicy meat but the skin is a bit salty for me.

10.35 am - set d MYR 12.90+ includes iced vintage coffee, siu mai and 2 BBQ chicken baos. Total price for 2 sets and 1 nasi lemak chicken is MYR 30.45 nett.
