Oriental Wok Hokkien Mee

Hokkien Mee at MYR 8.50 nett from Oriental Wok (Aeon Food Court in Midvalley Mall). Taste is acceptable but the gravy is not thick enough and the noodles do not seem to melt into the gravy so the Hokkien Mee of Damansara Uptown stall in PopCorn tastes better but unfortunately the stall has closed. In Midvalley Mall, one can still get a tasty plate of Hokkien mee from Kim Lian Kee eatery located near Canton-i restaurant.

Oriental Wok at Aeon Food Court (LG) at Midvalley Mall.

MYR 8.50 nett only so this can be considered a good price since the stall is located in a mall's food court.

  5. I still think the Hokkien Mee at Uptown is the best by observing their nightly crowd since 2 decades ago! They even expanded to next door with new menu too.

    1. PH prefers Tiong Hokkien mee at uptown instead of uptown hokkien mee.

  7. It's cheap, but when I ordered Hokkien Mee, they literally gave one piece of prawn, one piece of fishball, 4 super small pieces of chicken strip and no vege. I return the Hokkien Mee and they replace it with reasonable portion of chicken, vege, fishball and prawn. I don't mind about the price. As long as the restaurant gave us the portion that they advertised.

I also ordered signature steam fish, they gave us a very small fish compared to the advertisement. The fish size doesn't actually to follow the size shown in the ads, but I hope it could be considerably bigger. Feel cheated.

    1. Oh, I didn't know that this stall sells steam fish. Ads have fine prints that say what is shown is for illustration only. If you feel cheated, you should voice out to the person in charge. No harm giving them your feedback as you did for the hokkien Mee.
