  1. I have never ordered a meal on the computer or cell phone. If I order something from a restaurant, I call their phone number from my land line phone and either go to pick it up or have them deliver it. I don't use apps such as Door Dash, because I know it is more expensive.
I also enjoy dining in at the restaurant of my choice.

    1. Here, there are many promotions going on so ordering via hp apps for food delivery can sometimes have better prices inclusive of delivery than dining in restaurants.

  2. Oh dear friend Mun, it is 2 p.m. now here in Montreal, nice sunny afternoon. I know that restaurants now have technology where you can go to a computer terminal and place your order in this way. I have never done this, either! McDonald's has them, but I still prefer to go directly to a human cashier to place my order.
Hope you are doing well, thank you so much for your posts.

    1. Yes the mcd here has kiosks that we ordered from. Almost all eateries here even for dining in the eateries use hp apps for ordering although we can still order via a staff but many people here are used to ordering via hp apps since during the pandemic 2020 to 2022, we are all required to stay home so had to order food via hp apps.

    2. Ah, I see. I just read your comment on my Thursday post and in response to your question, no, I won't be going out to celebrate Labour Day. I don't like large crowds or a lot of noise, but I will probably go out for a walk and see what is open and what is not. I know many stores (and perhaps some restaurants) may be closed, but some may be open, so it will be fun to see what is open. I may take a few photos as well, I will see how it goes. :)

    3. Thank you for your reply. I think it is fun to walk around to see which shops are opened and which are not.
