Apple Pie

On Thursday 7.nov.2024, went to midvalley mall because I want to eat the apple pie that PH says is not sweet from Yin's Sourdough.

*** Yin's Sourdough Cafe ***

11.31 am - Apple pie MYR 14.05++ with some cubes of apple already eaten. 😋 He ate a bit of this apple pie and he could detect butter in the pie pastry crust because he is very sensitive to butter. The cinnamon taste is enough for us.

11.28 am - The apple pie MYR 14.05++ is not sweet when compared to the sweet orange zest butter cake MYR 8.01++. The iced black is refreshing.

11.30 am - I also ordered prawns sweet sour glass noodles mango salad MYR 38++ and a glass of iced black MYR 10++. The glass noodles stuck together into a cake and I am fine with it though I would think some people would prefer them not to be in a cake form.

12.30 noon - I haven't tried their kombucha drinks.

1.09 pm - apple pie

1.10 pm - Yin's sourdough cafe Midvalley Mall at north court

1.11 pm - total MYR 78.50 nett

*** Hou's kopitiam taman continental ***

9.46 am - traffic congestion to Midvalley Mall so he suggested we eat breakfast at hou's kopitiam taman continental on the way to Midvalley Mall.

My favourite iced salted butter coffee MYR 5 nett

His hot cham MYR 3 nett

2 soft boiled eggs for him MYR 3.50 nett

9.52 am - he selected this pan mee soup with lime MYR 9.50 nett 

10.01 am - my portion, the pan mee is thick and nice to chew, not too soft and not too chewy. The deep fried anchovies stayed crunchy despite being in the soup. Tasty.

*** Oriental Kopi Midvalley Mall ***

1.50 pm - I suggested we go eat our favourite mihun before going home since he didn't eat much before this. 

Mihun deep fried boneless chicken MYR 17.90++

Small cup of hot Cham MYR 6.90++

I asked him to eat all the chicken and I helped him by eating all the remaining mihun.

With this meal, both of us completed our meals for this day.
