Aunty Christina's Sarawak Laksa has now moved to Sea Park Kopitiam, PJ.
Sea Park Kopitiam is a corner shop located in the same block of shops as Thong Kee Sea Park.
It serves mixed rice (chap fan) too.
My friends ate Sarawak Laksa while I had a plate of mix rice with no rice: braised hard boiled egg, braised tofu, broccoli, cauliflower, petai and daikon (MYR 6.50 nett).
Received a pack of CNY angpow envelopes when I bought these four egg tarts at MYR 2.50 nett each.
Ah yes! I did read on Facebook that she has moved again...was in Bangsar originally. If I am not wrong, she sells kacang ma chicken too.
ReplyDeleteCorrect! She was operating a stall in a coffee shop in Bangsar, Lucky Garden and then she opened a shop in Seapark, PJ. Now the shop is closed and she is operating a stall again in a coffee shop in Seapark, PJ.
DeleteThank you for sharing this place. I used to dread going to Seapark areas due to parking problems but not anymore. I want to try this Sarawak Laksa.
ReplyDeleteThere is a huge parking field (foc) behind a row of shoplots facing the shoplots where Aunty Christina used to operate.
DeleteWow, the ang pow is so pretty! xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh, so you like yellow colour!
DeletePortuguese egg tarts!!! my fav!
ReplyDeleteThey are popular! They were sold out one day when I wanted to buy them.
DeleteI havent tried Sarawak laksa for a long time now... Johor has many stalls selling this type of laksa but not so in Ipoh.
ReplyDeleteHere in KL, it is not common too.
DeleteI like Sarawak laksa. Egg tarts look good!
ReplyDeleteBoth I am fine with.
DeleteLooking so different for me. I am Turkish. :)
ReplyDeleteI wonder if there are similar food to "mixed rice" here. In Brazil, I know they have many dishes for one to choose. And then they will have to weigh your food for them to calculate the price.
DeleteOh, she has moved! Thanks for informing. I have been wanting to try her Sarawak Laksa.
ReplyDeleteDo try if you are around seapark, pj.
DeleteHeard of this famous Aunty. Heard her Sarawak laksa is good.
ReplyDeleteIt is tasty!
DeleteThe ang pow packets are cute.
ReplyDeleteYes they are, aren't they.
DeleteSo you got ang pow for buying the tarts. How generous of them. :D
ReplyDeleteThis is a small shop but yet so generous.
