Wholesome Weekend

On Saturday 13.sep.2025, he chose to go to Midvalley mall to eat MYR 6.80++ fried chicken whole leg nasi lemak before the promotion ends on 16.sep.2025 so we went there and ate both brunch and early dinner.

2.09 pm - Pink coral Vine flowers and red frangipani flowers 

*** AMAH Midvalley Mall ***

8.22 am - MYR 6.80++ promo price fried chicken whole leg nasi lemak with one added MYR 2++ fried egg.

8.27 am - one toast, egg, coffee set. Total MYR 18.35 nett.

*** Hai Kah Lang Midvalley ***

10.15 am - Hai Kah Lang took over the space of Define Food restaurant to open a branch in Midvalley KL. It is located in the office building in between Midvalley Mall and the gardens mall.

10.14 am - steps to go up to the eatery. There is an elevator too for elderlies who prefer to use elevators.

9.39 am - spacious dining area

9.44 am - he ordered Spanish mackerel fillets and I ordered grouper fillets. Both without any noodles so is MYR 15.90++ each. Total MYR 36.90 nett.

9.40 am - we sat facing the open window with a view of the frangipani tree outside. Birds can fly straight in.

10.15 am - the very same window viewed from outside with an attap overhang. An attap roof is a thatched roof usually made from woven palm leaves.

*** Halla Holla Midvalley Mall ***

11.04 am - Brekkie set is now available during weekends so I ordered smoked salmon +MYR 15 to the existing MYR 9.90 scrambled eggs sourdough toasts and coffee brekkie set. Total MYR 25.80 nett. This is my lunch.

*** Tonkatsu by Ma Maison Isetan Gardens ***

12.50 noon - his early dinner: kurobuta rosu set MYR 49.90++ 

No refills allowed because I didn't order a set since I was full.

12.49 noon - I ordered a plate of edamame 🫛 MYR 7.50++ which I took most of them home.

1.07 pm - the tonkatsu pork is battered and deep fried but not marinated so these sauces, condiments and sesame seeds are provided for those customers who require a strong tasting meat.

*** Natural Light ***

1.28 pm - the gardens mall with sunlight shining in through the large glass windows or can be considered as a glass roof.
