*** McVitie Jaffa Cakes ***
The long box of 40 Jaffa cakes.
Says and I quote:
"Jaffa Cakes are a cake introduced by McVitie and Price in the UK in 1927 and named after Jaffa oranges. The most common form of Jaffa cakes are circular, 2+1⁄8 inches (54 mm) in diameter and have three layers: a Genoise sponge base, a layer of orange flavoured jam and a coating of chocolate."
It is listed as McVitie's Jaffa Pole MYR 45.90 nett.
*** Fei Fei Midfield Square ***
8.55 am - I ordered less hand torn pan mee in tomato soup and added one hard boiled egg MYR 14.50 nett from the same stall that I bought yellow wine chicken rice from yesterday. Passable.
*** Hui Ong Coffee Shop ***
2.14 pm - he cooked the last remaining pack of instant noodles and ate them dry with the mustard leaves and duck and kept the remaining duck meat in the mustard leaves gravy and store in the fridge.
*** Clear Fridge Freezer Food ***
4.29 pm - I also ate all the frozen but still scoopable pistachio Sofuto which has a somewhat oily taste that I can't get rid of from my mouth. I wouldn't know that the flavour is pistachio if they didn't print the label pistachio.

ReplyDeleteI prefer curry chicken more. Hope you get to eat its curry rib next time you drop by.
He says no need to go again for the curry ribs. Hope you try the Jaffa cakes.
DeleteMaybe the wording will lit up at night, useful for ppl who 'sesat' there at night, not knowing what kampung there are inπ
ReplyDeleteNo the words don't light up. Many people already complained about this in the newspapers and FB.
DeleteThe Jaffa cakes you bought are they in biscuit form or are they cakes? I have never eaten a Jaffa cake before.
ReplyDeleteTheir texture is like kuih bahulu. Wiki says is Genoise sponge base. Not biscuits texture.
