So I ordered small chicken aburi rice with grated japanese yam, tororo yamaimo which has a slimy texture MYR 14.80++ but was later cancelled because the yam is not available.
11.32 am - wanted to order the one with two types of cheese but then he reminded me not to let him smell the cheese so I ordered the one without the cheese dip. Added 2 slices of kurobuta roast meat by adding MYR 10++ to the base item.
11.39 am - my order Roast Meat Tsukemen MYR 42.80++ with 5 slices of meat instead of 3 slices. I selected cold noodles so the slices of meat are also cold although the plate is warm. I took half of the cold tsukemen noodles home for another day. The noodles are al dente and firm to bite. The dipping broth has meat cubes and tiny pieces of yuzu peels in it. The broth is flavourful and I can detect Yuzu taste in it.
11.39 am - close up of the 5 slices of kurobuta Roast Meat. He ate one slice and took home 4 slices.
12.14 noon - he queued up to buy hot cham Kaw Kaw drink MYR 7.50 nett at Bungkus Kaw Kaw kiosk which is next to Lucky Mala Noodle eatery.
4.49 pm - he shallow fried the 4 slices of kurobuta Roast Meat with asparagus that we bought from aeon Supermarket today for his dinner. I ate all the asparagus above as he has already eaten his portion.
Hey! That Kurobuta Roast Meat looks absolutely delicious! 🤤 I can almost taste the tender meat and flavourful dipping broth. And those 5 slices of kurobuta roast meat? Yum! 🍖
ReplyDeleteI love how you described your food adventure at Midvalley Mall. The ramen set lunch, the tsukemen, and even the hot cham Kaw Kaw drink from Bungkus Kaw Kaw kiosk. It’s like I was there with you, enjoying every bite. 😊
You can bring your family to eat at this eatery when u visit kl.
DeleteOh, and the asparagus you bought from aeon Supermarket? Perfect pairing with the kurobuta roast meat for your dinner. Such a mouth-watering combination! 🍽️
ReplyDeleteYup 👍
DeleteI haven't eaten asparagus for a long time now. Use to fry with sambal belacan.
ReplyDeleteSambal belacan is too salty for us.
DeleteThe roast meat looked good.
ReplyDeleteThat was a long queue. The patience and willingness to wait, that I have to praise.
I agree.
