Luosifen aka θΊθη² literally means Snail rice noodle but there is no snail meat in this noodle. It is sour and spicy.

12.46 noon - as I requested for less spicy, they didn't put any red chili oil in it so the broth looks pale. No meat at all, just beancurd sheets, kangkung, bamboo shoots, peanuts with thick mixian. I took nearly one hour to finish eating it because it is still π₯΅π₯ spicy to me.
12.32 noon - I ordered one bowl MYR 14.90 to try.

ReplyDeleteYes, please do try it if you are interested.
DeleteGlad to know that low carb diet has helped.
ReplyDeleteBut the doctor says to eat back carb cos I believe the doctor thought the elderly likes to eat carb.
DeleteNever tasted luosifen. Watched many Chinese drama, and mostly they will eat luosifen in the drama series. I wonder how spicy or smelly it would be...lol. hope to taste it one day, so I be the judge to its taste. Hehe.
ReplyDeleteOh, you have also seen it in the drama series. The smelly taste is supposedly from the bamboo shoots so if u r ok to eat bamboo shoots then should be ok.
DeleteThe noodle in the first images does look red and spicy.
ReplyDeleteThe local people like to eat spicy red chili oil.
DeleteI haven't heard of luosifen. Sour and spicy sounds good to me.
ReplyDeleteAh, means you seldom watch drama series from there
DeleteMake it NEVER watch. :)
DeleteOh, you don't have time to watch any dramas?
