Delivery 1: Grab doesn't deliver food from this GoHeung restaurant to my area so I arranged for Grab Express to collect the food and deliver to my place. Read about this kimchi pork bone stew on PH's article:

And was salivating at the delicious Kimchi and true enough, the Kimchi napa cabbage wrapping the pork bone is simply delicious, melts in the mouth. I order both kimchi pork bone stew and pork bone stew for MYR 26 each. Ate one pork bone and kept the remaining two in the fridge.
These 4 assorted kimchi accompanied the main dishes: Napa cabbage kimchi, Radish kimchi, Hairy gourd kimchi and Chives Kimchi. I ate all the hairy gourd kimchi and kept the 3 in the fridge after eating a bit of each. The napa cabbage kimchi is crunchy so it is freshly made, not fermented long enough to be sour but is also tasty.Ice shavings are provided separately from the toppings and syrups.
This container has the toppings and syrup for ABC. The rose syrup tastes like sarsi. We shared this ABC between us and ate it all.
Ate this portion of Chendol.
Kept this portion of Chendol with ice in the freezer for the next day.Top view of Nasi Lemak with chicken rendang.
So many kimchis!! I like chives pajeon and can finish one whole pajeon at once๐๐
ReplyDeleteThis pajeon is very big. Today the kimchi pajeon tastes better.
DeleteInteresting, that nasi lemak container. Never seen anything like that before. Not into kim chi, would love all the rest!
ReplyDeleteThat container is usually used for soup noodles. Same as the one used for the pork tomahawk ramen.
DeleteI would love to try the assorted kimchi. :D
ReplyDeleteAh, so you like kimchi.
DeleteWow.. lots of choices.. I just ordered chicken rice via Grab a moment ago... hahaha.. so lazy to go out...
ReplyDeleteNot lazy but safest to just stay home and order delivery and wash your hands after touching the delivery and don't touch anywhere else and definitely don't touch your face.
DeleteSo red-red all that kimchi.
ReplyDeleteGood lah that people are paying attention to packaging now. I just took away lunch from a foodstall and the seller included a styrofoam bowl. Very useful in an office where all utensils have been locked up for hygiene reasons.
That cendol in its 'wall' of ice looks like the filling in a piece of kuih!
Of course red red from the chili. You back working in your office? How many hours a day in the office? Hahaha, ya purposely put the cendol into the middle of the ice for photo taking.
DeleteI was at the client's place last week, full day. Then back to wfh until the next round in a couple of weeks.
DeleteAha so you planted the cendol there yourself.
Wow! You are allowed to work full day onsite. Wear masks full day must be uncomfortable. Did you received the snacks on Sunday 29 Nov at around 6.30 pm? If not, can you ask the guard house? From Foodpanda.
DeleteI miss eating rojak and cendol. Love nasi lemak with rendang. I cooked beef rendang for yesterday's dinner.
ReplyDeleteYour beef rendang must be super delicious! Rojak and cendol tastes so good after so long didn't eat them.
DeleteOh. Another kim chi lover like PH.
ReplyDeleteI miss cendol, looking at your photo.
I like sour kimchi. Since u got dine out you could go eat cendol.
DeleteI am drooling at your 4 types of Kim Chi. I can eat them straight or with plain rice. Yums!
ReplyDeleteI saw the Kim Chi Buffet Stalls inside the Lotte Department Store in Seoul and learnt that some Kim Chi could be eaten right away after marinated and some needed days, weeks or even months of fermentation time. They even have seasons for the best harvest and fermentation time that depended on their weather too. Such a complicated & interesting food culture they have.
I eat kimchi with wholemeal bread. Lolx! Good that you have authentic Kimchi in seoul. Kimchi got very good probiotics so you can eat more kimchi.
DeleteSo interesting, the cover is also the container. Good that you have your fix of chendol. Yums!
ReplyDeleteHahaha, cendol influenced by you. The cover container is often used for soup noodles.
DeleteI am glad you got to try the delicious Goheung food. The Grab Express must have cost you quite a bit.
ReplyDeleteIt is ok. Less than 20percent of the food price. Worth it la so long journey.
