On Wednesday 30.april.2025, went to pavilion bukit jalil for food.

11.49 am - I ordered:

Wagyu beef 80g salad MYR 29.90++

Black forest cake and iced long black MYR 24.90++

Total MYR 63.55 nett

They gave a small bowl of sesame mayo for the salad dressing but I only used half of it.

He only ate a bit of the salad and cake. He didn't order any food because he ate brunch at oriental Kopi earlier.

11.49 am - the beef is tender and a bit pink in the middle. The salad has:

1. Lettuce 

2. Cherry tomato

3. Slices of red radish

4. Edamame 

5. Corn niblets

6. Rocket leaves

1.10 pm - bought 2 pieces of Fire chicken ALA carte MYR 17.99 nett for him. Fire chicken has bbq sauce on the deep fried skin. He says the chicken are tender and juicy. I didn't order any food.

We didn't order flying chicken which is deep fried chicken with powder seasoning on the crispy skin.

Braised Beef Dry Mihun

On Tuesday 29.april.2025, he wanted to buy siew yuk from a food truck that is only in Sri Petaling on Tuesday from about 11.30 am to 4.30 pm so he suggested eating brunch at Thong Kee Sri Petaling but after we parked the car in the basement car park of pinnacle condo, we saw that the queue at Thong Kee is too long for us to wait so we ate brunch at xiguan eatery which is located in an extension sticking to pinnacle condo.

The name of this eatery is 西關大少 aka xiguan.

10.47 am - he ordered:

Curry noodles MYR 18.90+

Hot Cham MYR 3.80+

I ordered:

Beef Mihun dry MYR 16.90+

Iced coffee MYR 5.20+

Total MYR 49.30 nett

The beef is marinated well, very flavourful and tender enough for my weak teeth so I will order this beef noodles again.

The beef dry Mihun has many pieces of ju yau zhar aka deep fried pork lard in it so I picked them out and gave them to him as he likes to eat these fragrant crispy ju yau zhar.

11.06 am - my portion of his curry noodles. The curry soup is a bit on the sweet side.

After our brunch, he crossed the road to the siew yuk truck.

11.56 am - MYR 25 nett worth of siew yuk. I ate just one piece to complete my omad and he ate them all. His feedback is tender, juicy meat with crackling skins 👍 😋

9.37 am - my iced Cham. His hot Cham less sweet MYR 2.60 nett and pork yee mee.

10.04 am - my portion. Completed my omad with this plate of rice and roast meat.

Sister Noodles Shop Segar

On Sunday 27.april.2025, he found an eatery selling pork noodles in Taman Segar Cheras so went to try.

7.48 am - His hot cham and pork noodles in lor mee gravy broth. In the broth I can taste vinegar yet they still put a whole bottle of vinegar on the table for customers who want more and more vinegar to put as much vinegar as they like by diy self service helping themselves to the vinegar.

We requested for yee mee for lor mee gravy and mee suah for original soup but they gave us mee suah for both bowls of noodles. We didn't make a fuss over the mistake but just accepted the mee suah. The vinegar is Great wall brand.

7.53 am - Original soup pork mee suah with more livers add-ons. The liver is thick and tender 😋 They also gave a piece of white 3jc rectangle meatball in the noodles, two pieces of intestines, slices of pork and one or two small pieces of minced pork patties.

7.55 am - shop interior

8.24 am - Shopfront sister noodles shop, taman Segar, Cheras.

After our pork noodles meal, we walked to icon brewings cafe for my coffee.

8.38 am - I ordered the above items but they say cronest is only available at 9.30 am so I said ok just remove it. I asked are there any types of cronest available and they say all types of cronests still need to wait until 9.30 am.

8.44 am - Then they bring out two trays of strawberry cronest and matcha cronest. I didn't ask about them as I think I wouldn't be able to eat all the items that I have already ordered.

8.46 am - Eggs and toasts

8.48 am - Nicely soft boiled eggs with yellow yolks.

8.51 am - Big pot of earl grey tea. My grilled cheese chicken meat sourdough sandwich. I ate half and took half back to give my friend to try because I was too full. I will always order grill cheese sandwich if it is on the menu.

When walking back to the car, I stopped by this coffee shop to buy one whole roast chicken MYR 60 nett for my friend.

9.30 am - I also bought ham chim peng and some deep fried items, total 8 items MYR 14 nett so MYR 1.75 nett per item for my friend from this stall called Stick2U because they also sell U tiao. He bought 6 items total MYR 10.50 nett. Then we sent the items to my friend including a pack of pork Hor fun MYR 11 with add ons livers MYR 3 to try.

1.07 pm - he bought 1 kapchung, 1 ham Chim Peng and 1 sweet potato nian gao. The above is my portion after he ate half of each item.

On Saturday 26.april.2025, was on the way to eat brunch at swee heng but it started to rain so we went to park at  pinnacle condo basement car park.

On Thursday 24.april.2025, I wasn't feeling hungry in the morning and I need to eat all 3 tea eggs in the fridge bought 6 days ago on Friday 18.april.2025 so in the morning I didn't order any food, just helped him finish his food.

10.23 am - he ordered chicken drumstick curry nasi lemak MYR 10 nett.

10.26 am - I ordered iced Cham MYR 3.30 nett. This time the coffee taste is less, it tastes sweet and milky.

10.34 am - I helped him eat all his remaining rice.

3.19 pm - I ate these 3 tea eggs bought from Fa Lian OUG herbal shop on Friday 18.april.2025 which is 6 days ago because eggs are my main source of protein nowadays.

3.53 pm - he cooked all the remaining nai pak in the bowl of remaining daikon ribs soup and frozen sui gao for his early dinner.

4.15 pm - my portion of all the sui gao doughy  skins which I like. He ate all the meat fillings and gave me all the sui gao doughy skins with nai pak. He also had some remaining roasted cashew nuts so I put them into the bowl to eat together.
