Mr Coffee Taman Desa

On Sunday 30.jun.2024, went to Taman desa, I went to tuck tuck tei and he went to sepetang. The roast meat stall at Sky Kopitiam has moved to Sepetang. Then we met up and went to Mr. Coffee Taman desa for coffee.

He suggested theLocal Kopi Malaya for our coffee so we went there but saw this new eatery opposite theLocal Kopi Malaya so we had our coffee at the new eatery instead.

10 am - eggs, toasts, coffee set MYR 10.90+

10.05 am - my iced white coffee MYR 5+ which has a robust coffee taste and the sweetness level is medium sweet.

His soft boiled eggs have large tasty yolks.

10.29 am - Mr. coffee Taman desa which opened about 8 months ago.

I wanted to dine in but almost all tables are occupied by mostly elderlies so I decided to buy takeaway so that I can meet up with him faster since I take a long time to chew chapfan dishes due to my weak teeth. I just scoop a bit of many dishes:

1. Okra

2. Bitter gourd 

3. Broccoli cauliflower celery 

4. Pumpkin

5. Only 1 wedge of potato 😂 

6. Long beans

7. Green beans

8. One braised egg🥚

9.32 am - the roast meat stall from sky Kopitiam is now located in sepetang, right at the front.

2.26 pm - braised egg and tea egg, ate them with two slices of wholemeal bread.

Yin's Sourdough Cafe Midvalley

On Saturday 29.jun.2024, went to eat at Swee Hing Sri Petaling.

After eating breakfast at The-Yum-Me-Place plaza batai, we went to midvalley mall to use the Yin's Sourdough dine in MYR 50 get MYR 10 off voucher.

11.23 am - I selected a dish without butter and without cream or any dairy products so that he can eat the food too. Avocado 🥑 prawns with glass noodles MYR 38++ the glass noodles are mixed with a sweet sour sauce that I believe has a bit of fish sauce in it and is a tiny bit spicy. This dish also has Coriander, mango and tomatoes in it. Thanks to him who peeled all the 6 prawns with a knife and fork as the prawns have heads and shells intact. We shared the food but he didn't drink my iced latte.

11.23 am - to reach MYR 50 I need MYR 12 so I ordered a glass of iced latte MYR 12++ instead of just a long black MYR 10++

Total price is MYR 44.80 nett after MYR 10 off.

Early morning brunch at Swee Hing.

8.31 am - his trotters with half portion of wanton noodles. MYR 11 nett. The price is the same for one portion of wanton noodles. I requested for half portion because I don't want to eat so much noodles as he always leave the bulk of the noodles for me to eat them for him.

8.40 am - iced Cham and hot Cham MYR 6.10 nett. His pan mee MYR 9 nett and My ytf Brinjal, bitter gourd, bean curd sheet, okra and half piece of ccf MYR 9.10 nett. We shared all the noodles so I was very full after all these noodles and thus closed my omad at 10 am.

1.53 pm - he ate this single pax portion of char siew and siew yuk MYR 11 nett that I bought from kokan coffee shop as his early dinner.

4 pm - he ate half the cooling jelly he bought from the herbal shop opposite yang Kee oug on Tuesday. I think the herbal shop is called kontea

On Friday 28.jun.2024, went to eat chicken hor fun at The-Yum-Me-Place plaza batai because he read that the broth is rich, thick and delicious! After that we went to midvalley mall because it is the last day to use Yin's Sourdough 10 ringgit off dine-in only voucher that I received on Wednesday. Also ate breakfast set at Sekampung eatery.

Tea Eggs

On Thursday 27.jun.2024, went to Hou's Kopitiam Taman Continental but couldn't find a parking space so went to Warisan kopi jalan lazat instead.

*** Tea Egg ***

1.36 pm - I like to eat tea eggs as much as braised eggs. See the nice marbled pattern on the above tea egg bought from the kontea herbal shop opposite yang Kee oug. Tea eggs are hard boiled eggs with shells intact that are simmered for a long time in water with tea leaves and a mixture of herbs. In supermarkets, there are ready made packs of teas and herbs for cooking tea eggs.

9.58 am - his order of soft boiled eggs MYR 3.2++ and my iced warisan coffee MYR 3.8++

10.01 am - his hot warisan coffee MYR 3.5++ and we shared curry mihun yellow noodles with 2 ingredients MYR 15.5++ He chose curry chicken and steamed squid for the two ingredients.

Canton-i Set Lunch Gardens

On Wednesday 26.jun.2024, went to midvalley mall to eat the set lunch at Canton-i restaurant. At Shojikiya Fresh Market LG Gardens Mall, saw yin sourdough promo of MYR 1 bread for purchase of MYR 30 and above so of course I must utilize this very good promo which is available on Wednesday only. Saw a new stall eatery at Aeon Supermarket called Sekampung. Will try it out in the future.

11.27 am - my favourite salted egg yolk prawns without any shells MYR 38.90++ with 12 prawns.

11.26 am - lemon grass meat with fried rice, lettuce and red bean tong sui MYR 25.90++ set lunch.

11.39 am - my portion. We shared all the food and then he went to ah Cheng Laksa eatery for his coffee drink and 2 half boiled eggs.

12.12 noon - total price MYR 75.15 nett.

There are 5 types of set lunch on weekdays from 11 am to 5 pm.

3.26 pm - the wholemeal sourdough bread is cut into 12 slices.

Mi Sua Soup

On Tuesday 25.jun.2024, woke up early at 4 am. Started at 7 am to pick up and then reached at 8 am and got number 1095 when current number is 1033 so is lucky to complete at 9.30 am.

Quickly go to a nearby place for brunch as the elderly has been fasting for the blood tests. After food, send the elderly back at 11.20 am.

*** Victoria Kopitiam Taman Midah ***

10.11 am - he ordered two sets of this hot cham drink MYR 2.3 nett and a bowl of mi Sua mix meat soup noodles MYR 11 nett. One set for himself and one set for the elderly. I didn't eat anything and just watch them eat.

10 am - he wanted to eat the crispy lard wanton mee at Jun Kee stall but it was too far for the elderly to continue walking as the elderly was hungry and tired as the grab car dropped us at the opposite end of the stalls so ate at Victoria Kopitiam instead.

9.56 am - walked past this Zun Noodles House. 

*** Yang Kee OUG ***

11.31 am - wanted to buy tea eggs takeaway from a herbal shop in oug but found a parking space right in front of yang Kee so I decided to eat brunch at yang Kee. We shared a bowl of beef brisket, beef slices and beef meatballs soup with no noodles large portion MYR 19.50 nett, a glass of iced coffee MYR 3 nett, and ytf:

2 tofu, 2 brinjal, 2 bitter gourd, 1 okra at MYR 2.50 nett each and 1 deep fried sui gao MYR 2.70 nett.

11.30 am - close up of the beef slices, brisket , meatballs soup without noodles.

11.58 am - total bill is MYR 42.70 nett.

The tea eggs at the herbal shop are not ready yet so he bought 2 bottles of herbal drinks at MYR 7.50 each and a light tube. Then he crossed the road to another herbal shop and bought 6 tea eggs and 1 herbal guai ling gou.

12.37 noon - when back, I ate the half avocado 🥑 he kept for me from the previous morning with rainbow green bread about MYR 10.50 and some yuan taste chocolate and eggy cranberry almond cakes. My omad is completed at 1.30 pm.
