Beef Hamburger Rice set - MYR18.80 - comes with a drink of your choice from a fixed drink menu. The sauce for the hamburger is tomato sauce.
We chose a pot of hot green tea as the drink for our set meal and ordered Matcha Kanten Slushy with black beans and green tea jelly from the ala carte menu - MYR9.80 - the Uji green tea in the pot has a very special fragrant green tea aroma.
Beef hamburger rice? What is that? Means you get beef patty with rice?
ReplyDeleteSame question.
DeleteYes you are right.
DeleteMerryn is right. Beef patty with rice. Like chinese minced pork patty with rice.
Delete"we" ordered a meal meaning both you and your xxx shared or each ordered a set?? the hamburger rice set looks good.. errrr, so what's there on the plate?? you did not list down all the items in detail this time??
ReplyDeleteokay, hamburger with tomato sauce (just those ketchup??), rice (what rice?? looks nice!!), an onsen egg (??), salad (coral lettuce with something??), soup of the day (what soup??), and chili and potato wedged between the salad and egg (??)..
oooppppsss!!! so many questions!! and one last one - how's the taste??
Share one meal cos ordered extra dessert. Wah looks like you have eaten this meal before since you call the egg onsen egg which it may be since the yolk is runny.
Deleteoh the dessert looks nice but then I won't try because I only drink green tea itself and not really like anything made with green tea.. weird huh??
ReplyDeleteand the uji cha.. errr, can't see anything, should of pour into the cups and show us, hehehe!!!
Uji cha is just like a lightly yellowish water lar.
DeleteThat hamburger rice set looks good and hoi wai.. I've eaten hamburger pasta set before but not hamburger rice set.. Sauce looks nice too.. Dessert looks very interesting, normally I eat green tea ice cream with red bean but not black bean.. Overall a nice meal..
ReplyDeleteI think you will like it more than coliseum.
DeleteWhere is this place? I would love to try that dessert.. (I already take note of many places that you share but so far not been to any of them yet when I go home >.< )
ReplyDeleteMidvalley and Gardens underground linkway. You are only allowed to drink celery juice in kl, ok?
DeleteOh. Its a hamburger patty without bun. :)
ReplyDeleteYes it is.
DeleteLooks good but tomato ketchup for RM18.90, no...but no, thank you. I sure can give this place a miss.
ReplyDeleteNot the tomato ketchup from bottle lah. No one sells you only tomato sauce for that price you get other food and a drink.
DeleteOk lah. You said tomato sauce so I just assumed you meant just that, ketchup. Maybe tomato-based gravy would be better - like bolognese. That, I like!
DeleteI like the Japanese green tea... chinese tea, I normally refrain cos I have experienced bouts of nausea and insomnia.. but green tea is fine with me so far... (can wash the oiliness too!)
ReplyDeleteThere are many types of chinese tea. Maybe some won't give you those issues.
DeleteI have tried a beef hamburger rice before at a Korean stall located at Suka at Sentral. It was just so so for me but can't expect much from food court. I am sure the one you had tastes a lot better.
ReplyDeleteShould be better than food court food.
Deletethe rice set looks good...the restaurant theme is green tea? they sell all sorts of green tea desserts & drinks?
ReplyDeleteYes you are right.
DeleteBeef hamburger...yes, rice.....yes, beef hamburger rice....sounds like a weird combo to me!
ReplyDeleteI think it is the same like having chinese minced pork patty with rice.
DeleteAh, when you say it like that...it doesn't sound weird, but hamburger rice does!
DeleteThe hamburger set and green tea looks unique. I am always game for new innovative menus like this!
ReplyDeleteGo try one day?
