Napa Cabbage

On Monday 22.dec.2025, went to pinnacle condo to have food.

*** Xi Guan wonton noodles ***

11 am - curry wanton noodles MYR 18.90+

Side view. The curry broth is not spicy, more on the sweet side.

11.06 am - croissant with scrambled eggs, cheese and bacon fillings MYR 13.90+
Without bacon MYR 10.90+ but I chose the with bacon.

There is just one small slice of bacon sticking to the underside of the upper half croissant.
Also ordered cold coffee MYR 5.20+
Total MYR 41.80 nett.

Before this meal, we shared one egg tart, hot white coffee, eggs and Kaya toasts MYR 12.55 at nam heong pinnacle.

*** Clear Fridge Food ***

2.37 pm - he cooked the naps cabbage 🥬 bought from urban supermarket at pinnacle condo with pork ribs bought from jy grcr on Sunday in the remaining bak kut teh soup.

3.53 pm - I just ate the napa cabbage 🥬 and two bananas 🍌 

Morning 43.80
Next morning 44.05
Retained 250g water because completed meals later at 4 pm.

    Dear Mun, I am not sure if Napa cabbage is the same as Chinese cabbage, but I love cabbage. I have never tried Chinese cabbage, I believe the cabbage I buy is Savoy. I will have to look it up.

      Yes, napa cabbage is c.cabbage so you are right. The leaves are less fibrous so I like to eat them as they are soft and suitable for my teeth.
      I must try looking for Savoy cabbage in supermarkets because it looks interesting with curly leaves.

    I just looked on the internet and yes, the cabbage I buy is Savoy. It is very good 👍

      Thanks. I will look for Savoy cabbages in supermarkets here. How do you cook it? The curly leaves look nice.

      Dear Mun, I stir fry it with a little butter and very small bit of water and add salt to taste. I cut it into strips before I make it. It is very tasty 😋

      Yes it is but the curry gravy taste is more on the sweet side.
