On Friday 17.may.2024, ate brunch at Tim won at around 9 am and then at noon, he ate lunch at warisan kopi jalan lazat with kid1 and kid4+ before they all went to do an errand +kid2+. Then split 4 and 3 and 6 ate dinner at Mun Kee Steam Fish Jalan lazat at 6 pm.
8.32 am - his trotter wanton noodles MYR 12 nett. As usual I ate his remaining noodles.
9.33 am - I ate half avocado 🥑 from his breakfast with a slice of wholemeal bread. Ate the one remaining piece of steamed purple sweet potato and the remaining half slice of marble choc soft bread from lavender. My omad is completed at 10.30 am.

Salted Butter Coffee Ping
On Thursday 16.may.2024, went to Hou's Kopitiam Taman Continental near Happy Garden for salted butter coffee and brunch. At around 4 pm, he went over to receive kid4+
9.48 am - his nasi lemak fried chicken leg. Needs to wait 10 to 20 minutes for the children leg to be fried.
9.43 am - he ordered this curry poached eggs on toasts. There is only a little bit of curry gravy on the plate. Can you spot the curry gravy?

Clear Frozen Soft Bread
On Wednesday 15.may.2024, went to Choy Kei jalan lazat for brunch.

11 am - he bought takeaway chapfan no rice MYR 12 nett.
11.32 am - shared 2 of 3 tofufa so 1 remaining.
11.44 am - I ate the 3 remaining slices of soft lavender bread kept in my freezer but they are not frozen solid, just firm and could be eaten without steaming them. Also ate 3 to 4 slices of wholemeal bread to finish off the remaining quarter of 340 g Smucker's goober grape peanut butter & grape jelly stripes that says best if used by Aug 2023. It has been in my fridge for many years.
11.54 am - I ate one piece of steamed purple sweet potato.

Croffle
On Tuesday 14.may.2024, I went to collect meds from the hospital for the elderly and I was asked to decide where to eat nearby so I searched online and found this cafe in taman midah for brunch.
10.48 am - white flaky perch fish fillet meat.
10.20 am - hot flat white MYR 12.90++ and iced long black MYR 10.90++ with slightly burnt coffee taste for the cold long black.
10.37 am - kuro garlic tsukemen MYR 23.90++ and the staff advised us to pour the kuro garlic hot soup all over the ramen if we want soft noodles which we did.
10.51 am - souffle and croffle MYR 23.90++
10.58 am - soft eggy souffle.
10.50 am - they served the espresso after they served the croffle and souffle dessert plate. Luckily they remembered because I wouldn't have known about the espresso because I didn't read the menu in detail.
11.24 am - shop front eastern coffee house. Total bill is MYR 123.55 nett.
11.13 am - I ate all these remaining tsukemen ramen noodles which is nice due to the soft ramen and slightly spicy sesame garlic soup poured over the ramen.
The photos in the menu are very pleasing to the eyes. I have to make a return visit to this cafe to look at each photo carefully next time.

Estate Coffeehouse Taman Midah
It opened in 2022 I believe. On the receipt, the name is EST Coffeehouse, bakehouse & TBF J&J Bake Cafe Sdn Bhd. This cafe is located in the same row of shops as Two One Two coffee shop. Very limited parking space in this area.
Since I selected this place for brunch, I am in charged of ordering all the food so I tried to order food without any butter in it so that he would eat it as he dislikes cooked butter taste in cooked food. Pure cold butter to spread on bread is ok with him but only when it is salted.
10.30 am - surfin turf aka fish and chips MYR 34.90++ which tastes good. I asked about the fish and the reply is perch fillet. Sweet potatoes fries and deep fried large shrimps. The wasabi tartar sauce is very delicious.
A croffle is croissant dough baked in a waffle machine maker. Need to wait 30 minutes for croffles and souffles. The souffle will sag after a few minutes so it is best to eat it when it is is served while it is still warm. A tiny cup of espresso accompanies the croffle.
4 pm - he ate all the remaining roast duck from yesterday.

On Monday 13.may.2024, went to complete a chore so he ate coffee and eggs at kaw kaw pakkopi Sri petaling while waiting for me. Then we ate chapfan no rice at fatty mix rice. Bought plumbing parts from Mr diy pinnacle condo and bread from pinnacle supermarket. Car is parked in pinnacle condo basement car park.
9.57 am - his eggs and coffee ☕ while waiting for me to complete my task. This eatery is located in the row of shops opposite pinnacle condo Sri Petaling.
10.20 am - 2 chapfan no rice MYR 16 nett.
Diy plumbing work and found that we need some parts so I ate bread and snacks before walking out to buy those parts. Passing choy kee roast duck new portable small stall, decided to buy some duck from them but minimum purchase of a roast duck is half a duck MYR 40 nett so I bought half a roast duck and one duck gizzard MYR 1 nett for his early dinner.

12.17 noon - he removed the existing leaking tap and needed some parts.
1.06 pm - I ate the previous day bread from lavender. Ate a bit of the salted egg yolk tart from Bar Cook and put it back into the fridge because it was too rich, sweet and creamy. Will only eat it bit by bit for many days.
3.20 pm - he successfully completed the transformation but the next day, his right wrist feels tired from exerting too much energy doing plumbing. Bought an iron cap stopper MYR 1.80 nett which was not used and one stainless steel elbow joint MYR 6 nett which was used here in the photo.
3.51 pm - we shared this 1 of 3 tubs of tofufa soybar he bought from chun Heong lucky garden bangsar yesterday aka Sunday.
4.50 pm - I changed my mind about Omad and ate the roast duck too. I like the flavourful tong gwai taste used to marinate this roast duck. The above remaining amount would be easy for him to clear the next day.
He removed the above bacfree filter which was dripping water from the nozzle after 13 years of usage. The above photo shows the state just after installation in year 2011.

Hunt for Soft Bread Loaf
On Sunday 12.may.2024, he wanted to try out a chicken Kai see hor fun in Chun Heong Kopitiam 新全香咖啡店 lucky garden bangsar that he read that someone online says is tasty. I suggested that he checked properly which stall because one coffee shop could have two stalls selling the same type of noodles. Later after we have eaten the Kai see hor fun, he found out that the correct stall is in the annex portion of the coffee shop but the one we ate is also very tasty so all is well. Need to visit this coffee shop again to eat the Kai see hor fun from the correct stall. 😂
8.38 am - whole chicken leg and 2 prawns hor fun MYR 14 nett. There are bean sprouts and chives too. Tasty 😋
8.37 am - found that sun huat Kee 3jc that we like to eat has moved to this coffee shop so he ordered dry 3jc noodles MYR 10 nett shared by the two of us. The noodles are soft and a bit gooey which we like.
12.09 noon - these are the items that I bought:
Ordered via lzd on Saturday and received on Sunday. Super fast.

Pack Clean

Therefore he cooked frozen Sui gao dumplings with frozen spinach and kept all the skins of the dumplings for the next day for me to eat the doughy skins which I like.
